PokerStars Sunday tournament results 10-24-10
So, let's just get this out of the way. Anders "Donald" Berg, the king titan of online poker, the brightest face on all of Team PokerStars Online, the very definition of grinder, the man who should only work on Sunday...yes THAT Anders Berg...made three final tables in the PokerStars Sunday Tournaments this week...and won two of them. It's gotten to the point that it's not news anymore, and yet, we feel compelled to report it. So there. (For full details, see the link to our full results at the end of this post).
Elsewhere in the big Sunday action, Dutch Team PokerStars Pro Joep van den Bijgaart (aka Pappe_ruk) picked up a first place of his own this weekend in the Sunday $215 Mixed Hold'em event. Not to be completely outdone, Brazilian Team Pro Andre Akkari made two final tables on Sunday in PLO and limit hold'em tourneys.
Not a bad day for the people under the PokerStars flag, eh?
The big, big money, however, went to a few other folks who made the final tables of the Sunday Warm-Up and Sunday Million.
Sorel Mizzi, aka zangbezan24, hit the Sunday Warm-Up for more than $124,000 yesterday. He outlasted nearly 4,800 players to take this week's warm-up title. Kevin Mathers has the story: Mizzi doesn't miss, wins Warm-Up.
A few hours later, the day's biggest winner, ramondemon77, barreled through the Sunday Million, besting more than 8,200 players for the quarter-million-dollar win. For the full report, check out Martin Harris' ramondemon77 rolls to victory in 10/24/10 Sunday Million.

Good luck in the coming week to everybody but Anders Berg, who apparently doesn't need it.
