Double guarantees, milestone hands this Halloween weekend

ps_news_thn.jpgI hope you have scheduled your time well. I hope with all of my heart you have picked out your Halloween costume. We're just a few days away from trick-or-treating, and if you haven't started getting your stuff together, you may be in for a long weekend. Within the next 24 hours, PokerStars is going to light up like a Christmas tree with double-guarantees and some big money milestone hands.

Say what? That's right. Christmas on Halloween. Candy and gingerbread houses. Dracula and Santa Claus. Money and...well, money.

Let's start with the first big money proposition. As you might know, PokerStars recently kicked off its Time Tourneys. Part of the new tourney format was the release of the Saturday Countdown. To mark the occasion, this weekend, PokerStars will be doubling the guarantees of all its major tourneys in the Saturday countdown. It's as if PokerStars is just giving away money like candy. You don't even have to wear a costume!

As if that's not enough, just about the time the Saturday Line-Up really gets going, something very big will start happening. That's right. If you don't have your Sexy Pumpkin or Morally-Questionable Frankenstein outfits all lined up, get it done right now, because my people at PokerStars HQ tell me the next step on the Road to 100 Billion begins Saturday morning ET.

As we mentioned a few days ago, PokerStars is preparing to deal its 70 billionth hand. With that comes a massive celebration that will see PokerStars give away at least $750,000 in prize money to people deal into 300 milestone hands. It all ends when somebody gets dealt into the 70 billionth hand and wins at least $70,000 for it.

So, buy your candy, get your costume in order, and get some good rest tonight, because you should be prepared to spend the weekend winning some big money. Win enough and you might just be able to afford that Half-Dressed Hunchback costume you've been eying for so long.

Good luck this weekend! Remember, the clock is ticking.
