PokerStars Sunday majors results (10-2-11)
Ahhhh, this feels right. After a month of Monday mornings that beat us all over the head and shoulders with WCOOP results, we're back to the normal world where people compete for $1 million-plus prize pools every week. Our normal is a fine place.
Indeed, with WCOOP now a happy memory, it was time to re-start our look at the weekly winning in the PokerStars Sunday majors.
To ease back into the world of regular online events, we rubbed our eyes and kept them on the Sunday Warm-Up. That's where Germany's schweinix picked up $102,019 in prize money for his first pace finish. Kristin Bihr has the story in: Sunday Warm-Up: schweinix steamrolls final table, ships $102k.
A few hours later, the Sunday Million re-appeared for the first time in a month. After a four-week hiatus, the Million came back was nearly 6,600 players and a $1,318,600 prize pool. When it was done, p3rc4 had picked up for than $200,000 for the win. Jen Newell has the story in: Perseverance pays for p3rc4, wins $200K and Sunday Million title.
Also, if you haven't noticed yet, the Daily Bigs have kicked themselves up a notch. The Daily Bigs now have four new tourneys and four new guarantees. For more details, visit the PokerStars Daily Bigs page.
