PokerStars Sunday tournament results (3-6-11)

ps_news_thn.jpgOn any other day, we might have a decision about what would lead this regular Monday morning post. Would it be the fact a one-time WCOOP champion took down a Sunday tournament? Or that Team PokerStars Pro Alex Gomes placed second in the weekly HORSE event? Or maybe that Anders "Donald" Berg won yet another Sunday tournament? We might even go with the great 3-6-11 Sunday Warm-Up wrap up filed by David Aydt, or Chris Moneymaker's runner-up finish at the NBC Heads-Up Poker Championship.

But, really, seriously, is there any story other than the Sunday Million 5th anniversary blow-out? Nearly 60,000 players and a prize pool just short of $12 million is the type of thing that will draw some attention.

Fortunately, we had Jen Newell on top of the story all night. She has the news of Bdbeatslayer's victory, the nine-way chop (!!!), and everything else you need to know in Sunday Million 5th Anniversary final table wrap up.

For all the other results that are still exciting but don't involve anniversaries or exceptionally expensive sports cars, check out the 3-6-11 PokerStars Sunday tournament results.

Now, go have a good week and start thinking about what's going to happen when the Sunday Million turns six years old.
