Thirteen survive to ESPT Day 3

estrellas_poker_tour.pngDay 2 of the Estrellas Poker Tour San Sebastian, a €1,000 buy-in event supported by PokerStars, finishes after 10 levels of play. Today started 111 players, 43 of whom had qualified online on PokerStars. Only 13 will come back tomorrow to the tables.

In this Estrellas San Sebastian, which takes place at the Kursaal Casino from 4-7 August, attended a total of 290 players making a total prize pool of €253,344. This means that the winner will take home a cash prize of €64,600. In total 32 players, coming from 23 different countries, will be cashing in.

After 16 levels of play, the bubble girl was revealed, the Spanish player Tamara Jimenez, who was eliminated by Fabian Deimann. All players standing have a guaranteed prize of €1,650.

The chip leader at the end of Day 2 is Fernando Piñeiro with 802,000 chips, followed by Or Eshkar in second position with 525,000 in chips.

On Day 2 we had the Team PokerStars Pro Juan Maceiras, knocked out during the day. Other players eliminated were Alfonso Cardalda "el_rage", Álvaro Santamaría "Varovsky" and Óscar Serradell "mendalerenda".
