Prague poker festival under way

The Eureka Poker Tour started yesterday kicking off 11 days of poker in the Czech capital, Prague. The EPT Main Event begins on Sunday.

Poker has fallen across Prague like a blanket of beautiful snow. The first footsteps in the pristine snow appeared yesterday as the €1,100 Eureka Main Event began. While Day 1 notched up 222 players brave enough to face the elements, just 67 managed to last the duration. More have followed in their wake today with 353 players already bought in for the day and registration open for a total of six one-hour levels. Expect that number to keep climbing.

Others will just come out for the fun of the €5,300 EPT Main Event, which begins on Sunday, but they'll stand to miss out on lots more winter fun. There are 38 tournaments in the combined EPT and Eureka festival in Prague, including €220 turbos and a €10,300 High Roller, giving action for whatever level you play. Take a look at the EPT Prague tournament schedule.
