Fixed Limit Hold'em Week starts on Monday

Next week we're going old school and, if you join us, you can get involved in all kinds of juicy spots. During Fixed Limit Hold'em Week, which runs 8-14 July, you can play Taster Tourneys, pick up loads of extra FPPs during four daily Happy Hours, and pick up three free tournament tickets if you deposit $20 or more on 14 July (see below).

Hourly $1.50 FLHE tourneys and special 45-man Sit & Go's will also run throughout Fixed Limit Hold'em Week as we give boost the schedule, but that's not the only thing getting increased. On Saturday, 13 July at 14:00 ET, the Weekly FLHE tourney's prize pool will be quadrupled to a $20,000 guarantee. You can buy-in direct for $215, or win your seat in satellites which are running now.

Daniel Negreanu is an all-rounder. Are you?

Taster Tourneys
If you've never played fixed limit then you really should give it a spin, it's a classic form of poker. And how are you ever going to become the complete poker player without playing all schools? If you want a low cost entry then try one of the Taster Tourneys taking place throughout the week. Each tournament has a 5 FPP buy-in and a $500 prize pool. All Fixed Limit Hold'em Week Taster Tourneys can be found under 'Tourney' > 'All' in the PokerStars lobby.

Happy Hours: July 8-14
Play Fixed Limit Hold'em for 50% more VPPs and FPPs in ring games, Sit & Go's and MTTs during special daily FLHE Happy Hours, running for one hour from 04:00, 10:00, 16:00 and 22:00 (all ET). No Happy Hour bonus for heads-up play though. You've got to be socialable during Happy Hour.

Free buy-ins!
Deposit $20 or more between 5:00 ET on July 4 and 22:59 ET on July 14 using the bonus code 'LIMIT' to claim three $1.50 FLHE tournament tickets. These can be used to buy into the $1.50 Fixed Limit Hold'em Week tournaments (but you need to earn 1 VPP after making the qualifying deposit for the tickets to be credited to your account).
