Mud wrestling with Liv Boeree: Heads Up with Stapes, part one

Okay, admit it, the headline grabbed you and if you're still reading this rather than scrolling down to click through to the video then you should give youself a pat on the back. You're obviously the kind of player who has the discipline to fold ace-king pre-flop.

So, you must know Liv Boeree. She's a Team PokerStars Pro, EPT winner and a competitor of the most ferocious manner with $2,281,099 in live tournament winnings. If you know Boeree then chances are that you'll know Joe Stapleton, too. Stapes, as he's better known, is not a Team PokerStars Pro nor an EPT winner or, it seems, much of a competitor away from a bar stool. He can talk the hind legs off a donkey though, which comes in pretty handy when you're presenting seven full days of live webcasts.

PokerStars pitched Stapleton (talker, lover) against Boeree (talker, fighter) in a three-part series of challenges-come-interviews that... well, let's cut to the chase, may well end up with one or both of them writhing around in mud. If you're still reading now, that's impressive. Sit back, click below and let the nonsense begin.

But if you want more Stapes (and James Hartigan) action then click on through to the EPT Live replays now. And don't forget to tune in for the Barcelona EPT Live webcast at at the end of August. EPT Season 10 kicks off soon and it looks like it's going to be incredible. Find out more here. And catch up with our WSOP coverage here.
