PokerStars gets a new friend: Natalie Hof

You probably know this already, but the PokerStars folks are pretty friendly, and they are always looking for new friends. Now they have another! Today, PokerStars announced that Natalie Hof is the newest Friend of PokerStars.

If you're not familiar with her, Hof has been the German presenter for the European Poker Tour since Season 8. After learning Chinese Poker back in 2006, she discovered hold'em, made a final table on her birthday, and fell in love with the game.

Since then Hof has spent a lot of time in front of the camera but has used her downtime to play. Her biggest cash to date came when she finished 39th in the EPT Berlin Main Event earlier this year, good for €18,000. She followed that a month later by taking fourth place and €3,180 in the €300 NLHE Turbo side event at the PokerStars and Monte-Carlo® Casino EPT Grand Final. Her online results include a $2,000 cash in an $11 deepstack, and a $5,000 cash in the Big $109 online at PokerStars earlier this year.

"Since I started playing poker I dreamed of becoming a member of Team PokerStars. I enjoyed working as a presenter, and now I am more honored to represent at the tables," Hof said. "I am looking forward to playing more major events and traveling the world. I have no expectations but I will give my best and try hard to get a title everyone dreams of. Also, I hope that as a Friend of, I can be an inspiration to women and encourage them to take up the game."

Congrats, Natalie. Welcome to the fold.
