PokerStars weekend review (01-14-13)

Yes, yes. We know things in the Bahamas have been coming to a thrilling conclusion. Yesterday Dimitar Danchev won the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure main event for a pleasant $1,859,000, while today someone, maybe Shaun Deeb, will win the PCA High Roller for $1,424,420. That's big, once-a-year live payouts for you. But here at PokerStars, we are just as keen to talk about our big weekly online payouts.

They happen each weekend online (and of course daily during our big online series), and this weekend saw another bunch of players putting a broad smile on their bank managers' faces.

The Sunday Million was won by nietbangzijn (usual spelling), who bagged a highly-impressive $186,000 for first place. It was a notable final table, with Norwegian legend Thor 'osten' Hansen finishing sixth for $45,997.80.

Meanwhile, player zen_mec won the Sunday Warm-Up for $107,922.70, beating Kevin 'BeL0WaB0Ve' Saul heads-up. The well-known Saul took $80,425.80 for second.
