PokerStars weekend review (24th June 2013)
Before you do anything else, make sure that you bookmark this Zoom & Boom page, because it could win you lots and lots of extra money. And, while you're at it, you've got to see this Phil Hellmuth hand.
Zoom & Boom week, where you can win loads of free cash with K♠K♣, starts today and is one of the last hurrahs of the 100 Billion Hands Celebration, as was the enormous Zoom $1,000,000 guaranteed tournament which took place last night. By the time the two-hour late registration period had finished on the $109 event, 11,950 had entered kicking up a guarantee-busting $1,195,000 prize pool. Dejan 'dejanaceking' Divkovic, who also won the ANZPT Perth Main Event title earlier this year, took the quick-moving tournament down to add $166,224.50 to his bankroll. Check that tournament write-up here.
You can also read tournament reports for the Sunday Million, which was won by Brazilian huuuz for $180,669.83, and the Sunday Warm-Up, which was topped with a $88,641.87 triumph by Joey 'khanrava' Fulford.
The Golden Sit & Go's, which were another part of the big number party, also proved to be a huge success as 54,017 players shared more than $1.4m in bonus money. PokerStars made a lot of players very happy...
