WCOOP Challenge Series starts Friday with $10m guaranteed

What are your weekend plan? Perhaps some egg nog slurping, chestnut roasting, over-and-hills-and-through-the-woods sleigh riding? None of that? Well, perhaps we can be of assistance. How does $10 million in guaranteed prize money sound?

After three weeks of celebrating the PokerStars December Festival, we have come to the centerpiece of the action. Beginning Friday and running through the rest of the weekend, PokerStars will host the WCOOP Challenge Series.

Over the next few days, you have a chance to win $10 million in guaranteed prize money over eight different events. It kicks off on Friday with a $109 event guaranteeing half a million bucks and will finish off with a huge $3 million guaranteed $2,100 Main Event on Sunday. Even if you don't have the full buy-in ready, there are satellites running all the time that can get you in for pennies on the dollar.

Not only do you have a chance to win lots of money this weekend, but the winner of each event will get a customized commemorative money clip and a ticket to the 2014 World Championship of Online Poker Main Event worth $5,200.
