Every FrenchDawg has its day

There was something enjoyable about Team Online Pro Marc-Andre Ladouceur tweet in the early hours of Monday morning. It was pleasantly matter-of-fact. Not a brag as such, more a statement of fact. Words that were instinctive rather than rehearsed; honest, without being boastful.

That pretty much says it all.

Ladouceur, won $59,133.64 for his night's work, chopping things heads-up with runner-up DonkCommited, from Mexico, who walked away with a consolation $60,991.36.

I like to imagine Marc-Andre was sitting in front of his screen as the congratulatory message popped up, thinking to himself, "huh!" Perhaps there were celebrations, a raised arm, a few fist pumps. Maybe the sedate reaction owed more to the time of day than any poise.

But what more can you say winning the Sunday 500 other than "Won the Gold". Actions speak louder than words. Perhaps because of this Ladouceur kept it brief.

Congratulations Marc-Andre.
