Keiruja wins the Sunday Million while Spinks binks the warm-up

If an entire nation took pride in its players, like they would a sports team, it would be a great weekend for British poker. Reality might make things a little different - one player's success is usually at the expense of another - but still, there's enough bonhomie to see the success as a fellow countryman, even if they did beat you along the way, as a blessing. In the case of this weekend that would be the success of Jon "LUFCBas" Spinks in the Sunday Warm-Up, and Keiruja in the Sunday Million.

Keiruja picked up more than $175,000 for his win in the Million, sidestepping the likes of John j0hndayt0n Dayton and Tanveer T_Dot_D Dhanjal at the final table, the full report of which, written by Martin Harris can be read here. Meanwhile Spinks did a little of the same in the Warm-Up, picking up more than $63,000 which he now adds to the SCOOP title. Read all about his adventures, courtesy of David Aydt, here.

Here are those two results in full:

Lastly a shout out for Team Online's Naoya "nkeyno" Kihara, whose delight at winning the Sunday 6-max was infectious.
