Ready to win your seat to the Shark Cage Season 2?

In poker terms it's the home of excitement, drama, and, let's face it, humiliation. Now you can win your chance to feature in all three.

Today we start the search for the last three online qualifiers for 'Shark Cage' Season 2. Three players to come to Monaco and compete against professional players and celebrities for a share of the $1 million prize pool.

Interested? Then you might want to read on.

Qualifiers are running now on the PokerStars client and take place daily at 12:05, 14:05 and 16:05 ET until March 1. You'll need a ticket to play these events, but getting hold of those is pretty straightforward.

To earn a ticket simple deposit $30 (€23/£18) or more into your PokerStars account before 16:00 ET on March 1 using the bonus code "SHARKEPT". In return you'll receive ten free tickets which can be used to enter any of the Shark Cage qualifiers, with a $1,000 added prize pool.

What's more the top 20 finishers in each ticket qualifier will advance to the casting stage to audition for the TV show. This is where it really gets interesting.

If you make it this far you'll be invited to send us a video audition. Tell us about yourself, your story, especially about your life outside of poker. Oh, and skip the dull bits as you need to get this done in no more than two minutes. Want to get our attention? Throw in plenty of personality, humour and enthusiasm. Make it memorable.

There are a few rules to keep in mind, like ensure everything is in English, and make sure it's loaded up onto YouTube no later than 23:59 ET March 8. Email the link to, and make sure there's no copyrighted material in your video. If you make the shortlist we'll be in touch.

That, ahem, is all there is to it. Convince us that you deserve a seat on Shark Cage and you'll be flown out to Monaco, checked into the five star Le Meridien hotel and have your PokerStars account credited with $500 to cover your expenses. Win or lose, it'll be an unforgettable experience.

Need a reminder of the format? Check out the Shark Cage homepage for all the details. In the meantime see the Terms & Conditions page for all the information you might need.

For now we wish you good luck, and we'll see you in Monaco.
