Roses are red, violets are blue... hey look, poker!

We're only into February but already we've lived through the PCA, TCOOP and last week EPT Deauville. All combined to dominate most of the weekends so far in 2015. So for those who yearn for life to get back to normal, those who reject change and prefer the familiar instead, this weekend is pretty much designed for you.

This weekend the Majors return to normal, a straightforward line-up of events that you know and love (and occasionally hate depending on how things go), culminating with the Warm-up and Sunday Million. And if you were thinking you might have obligations that keep you away from the action, relax. Valentine's Day is tomorrow, not Sunday.

Last weekend proved to be a bit of a thriller, with the Sunday Million fought out heads-up between Simon Ravnsbaek and Rob Tinnion, with the Englishman emerging winner after some gripping poker (check out the highlights of that event here).

For Tinnion it was his second Sunday Million title in six month, and as he told the PokerStars Blog, gave him all sorts of reasons to be cheerful. If you're unsure whether the Sunday Million is for you, let Tinnion persuade you.

Did we say it was a standard weekend? Well almost. For those who prefer their poker far away there's the ANZPT Perth updates to fill the gap. Action is already into Day 2 in Western Australia, with several big name refugees from the Aussie Millions in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago (including Bryan Huang, Stephen Chidwick, Mustapha Kanit and Martin Finger) making the trip west before the inevitable long haul trip back home. Our live coverage page has everything you need from Australia.

If you need something to get you in the mood ahead of the Majors this weekend you can also check out the latest episode of the European Poker Tour, which has reached Day 2 of the Season 10 Grand Final. Check out the action by going to where James Hartigan and Joe Stapleton will help you re-live events from the Spring of last year.

Admittedly none of this will get you in the mood for Valentine's Day but then we'll leave that in the hands of significant others.

In the meantime all that's left is to wish you good luck this weekend. Bask in its ordinariness, and then let us know what it's like to win the big one first thing on Monday.

See you on the other side.
