Russian player CccpVodka hits the jackpot in $1 Million Spin & Go

If you were reading the Blog yesterday you might have read of a handful of players who are within touching distance of becoming millionaires, thanks to the "PokerStars Makes Millionaires" promotion. Well, it seems overnight one player from Russia leap-frogged all of them, hitting the jackpot by winning a $1 million Spin & Go.

The result makes CccpVodka the first millionaire of the PokerStars Makes Millionaires promotion. It took just 355 seconds in the early hours of this morning. We can only guess at the magnitude of the hangover.

CccpVodka secured his win by defeating partalios, from Greece, who finished second, and shooLarr, also from Russia, who finished third. But it was hardly a bad night for them either, with both earning $100,000 in the process.

As far as Spin & Go's are concerned Russian players have had great success when it comes to hitting the bull's-eye. The very first Spin & Go millionaire, sss66666, was from Russia, winning his prize back in January. In comparison, the 13-and-a-half minutes it took him to win seem like some sort of epic marathon.

CccpVodka will not be the last millionaire to be made on PokerStars in the coming weeks. It could still be you celebrating a life changing win as the $1 million Spin & Go promotion continues. You can also find other ways to win on the PokerStars Makes Millionaires homepage, with events continuing into next month.

Congratulations to CccpVodka on a great win and what must have been a wonderful moment.
