Championship weekend awaits for TCOOP, Aussie Millions, UKIPT

Hold onto your hats, ladies and gentlemen, because this is a weekend for champions. Between now and the next working week (for, you know, those of you who do the whole Monday-Friday thing), we're going to see a lot of brand new champions around us.

Over the next couple of days, we'll have coverage of the final 2016 TCOOP events, the Aussie Millions final table, and the UKIPT Series event in London.

We've already seen nearly 40 Turbo Championship of Online Poker events. By the end of Sunday night, there will be 50 champions, including whoever wins the biggest of all, the $2 million guaranteed Main Event. That speedy monster has a $700 buy-in, but there are satellites running now that could get you in no matter what you have in your bankroll.

Over the course of the last week, we have been keeping tabs on every final table and every new champ. If you'd like a quick look at all the winners and final tablists from the complete events, see our 2016 TCOOP results page. There you will find all the champs and links to stories about how they won. Or for all of our stories, check out our dedicated TCOOP 2016 coverage page.

We also can't forget to mention the current status of the Player of the Series race. With 13 events left to play, the UK's TedyKGB88 has a slight lead on Germany's KornmeisterX. With that much understood, anything can change in the next couple of days. You can read more about the Player of the Series race and its prizes here.

Here is how the top ten spots look heading into the weekend.

For the first time in its history, the Aussie Millions has two women at the final table. Samantha Abernathy and Kitty "Go your side" Kuo are both in contention for the $1.6 million AUS first prize.

If they are to win it, they will have to overcome the formidable chip advantage of longtime grinder Ari Engel.
