Key Dates for PokerStars Championships and Festivals in 2017

PokerStars' new tours head to London, Rozvadov, Panama, Macau and Monte Carlo in first half of 2017

The PokerStars Championships are getting closer by the day and along with them the long list of PokerStars festivals that will transform the poker calendar in 2017. Today we can announce details of those events for the first half of next year.

It's a combination of the new and the familiar, with the world's most popular poker brand returning to the Bahamas for the 13th year in a row, this time to debut the PokerStars Championship Bahamas, from January 6 to 14.

The PokerStars Championship 2017 then continues its busy schedule, with events in Panama in March, followed by Macau and Monte Carlo in April. The ever popular city of Barcelona will then host a Championship in August.

As well as Championships, PokerStars Festivals will bring more affordable tournaments to top poker destinations around the world, starting in London in January, and then Rozvadov in March.

PokerStars' Director of Live Events, Edgar Stuchly, said: "PokerStars has an incredibly rich live events heritage, having hosted more than 560 tournament series, attracted more than 800,000 entries and awarded more than $1.5 billion in prize money. The PokerStars Championship and PokerStars Festival events are an enhancement of the existing PokerStars sponsored live tours, helping to take our vision for live poker to a whole new level."

Here's a look at those upcoming events in detail.
