PokerStars Christmas Festival in full swing

As we wrote a little more than a week ago the holidays are on the way, and with it all the seasonal cheer appropriate for this time of year. On PokerStars that means our Christmas Festival.

You might have read details of it already on the Blog. Highlights including a $1 million freeroll, the MicroMillions Marathon, a Sunday Million worth $2 million, and a Christmas Calendar to mark the 25 days leading up to Christmas. It's this we're happy to announce details of today.

For the first 25 days of December, the PokerStars' Christmas Calendar will offer $2 million in prizes. Every day, you will be able to unlock a new promotion or activity to complete in the Challenges window of the PokerStars client. There will be something for everyone to enjoy, including Spin & Go challenges, deposit bonuses, freerolls, and giveaways that offer lots of chances to win a share of the $2 million in rewards and bonuses.

Don't have a PokerStars account? Getting one couldn't be easier and takes just a few minutes. Click here to get started.

It's a great way to mark each day in December. What's more we've adjusted it to make sure that every player gets an experience that challenges them, and which is suited to the type of player they are.

Each challenge will appear in your challenge window each day.

So if you're a high stakes player your challenge will be different to what's in store for a micro stakes amateur, and vice versa. Like we said, if you decide to skip it, you can still take advantage of all the highlights for the rest of the month. But if you want to give it a try, we think you'll get a better experience, and more of a challenge, which has got to be more fun.

For all the details of the promotion over the next few weeks, and of the terms and conditions, check out the Christmas Festival homepage.

In the meantime good luck and Happy Holidays.
