Not a foot wrong in the Sunday Million

As Jason Kirk reported for the Blog, it has been a pretty good year for myleftfoot33. The Irishman started well and managed to keep the momentum going all year long, culminating (unless he can top this in the next three weeks) with a Sunday Million title a few hours ago.

The win was worth nearly $149,000 and came ahead of a field of 5,235. The full report is well worth a read, and you can find it here. The result itself is below.

Miracle in Manila

While the online poker world was at full speed, the live poker one getting a run out in Manila, where the Megastack event concluded yesterday.

As Ben Wilson reported, it was something of a miracle comeback for eventual winner Siong Boon Heng, who took home ₱2,771,000 (US$55,850) in what proved to be the largest international tournament ever held in the Philippines. He'd had a 5-to-1 chip deficit heads up to make it a story to remember. Read all about it here.
