What will you be looking forward to on PokerStars this weekend?
Another weekend to look forward to. Here we take a look at the week on PokerStars.
1. Breaking the bank at Monte Carlo
Poker players and fans rejoice. The European Poker Tour is back in action after an extended period of repose following EPT Dublin. And as if to re-affirm its position as the most prestigious poker tour in the world it is back with style, finishing its 12th season with the familiar backdrop of the Riviera and the PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino European Poker Tour Grand Final.
Whether you're about to travel to the Monte Carlo Bay Resort yourself, or whether you intend to follow the action online, you won't miss anything, more so this year than ever before.
For the first time in EPT history the EPT Live team will be providing cards-up coverage (you read that right) from Day 2 of the Main Event. No more screaming at the river fold that denies the answer to a complex poker riddle. You'll have your answer.
If you're in Monaco for the festival, which runs from April 26 to May 6, you'll have 80 events from which to choose, including everything from the $100K Super High Roller to daily turbos. The full schedule can be found on the EPT homepage, while coverage of all the major events will be reported on with live updates on the PokerStars Blog.
* Single Re-Entry High Roller (Tues 26 to Thurs 28 April)
* France Poker Series Main Event (Wed 27 to Sun 1 May)
* $100K Super High Roller (Thurs 28 to Sat 30 April)
* EPT Main Event (Sat 30 to Fri 6 May)
* Single Day High Roller (Sun 1 May)
* EPT High Roller (Wed 4 to Fri 6 May)
It all starts on Tuesday with live updates from the Single Re-entry High Roller, which has the unusual start time of 6pm (local time).
2. EPT Not Live
To explain all of the above, and to talk the usual amount of irreverence, the latest edition of #EPTNotLive is now available. We'll let the team introduce it...
"James and Joe kick things off with tweets about last week's podcast, including positive reaction to the news that #EPTLive is going cards-up in Monaco. EPT 12 has started airing on TV, so the boys review the season premiere: the Barcelona Main Event Final Table. They're joined by runner-up Steve Warburton to discuss the show. Steve is also subjected to one of the most torturous trivia games ever created by (a hairy) man. Joe decides to campaign for numerous nominees in this year's European Poker Awards with a series of 'For Your Consideration' ads. And Michael Bumblis from LA tries to outsmart a fellow 'Seinfeld' obsessive in 'Superfan vs Stapes'. #EPTNotLive

3. CARE needs your help
If you're got some StarsCoin that you want to put to good use (aside from in the usual way) PokerStars and CARE are asking for your help.
Following the earthquake in Ecuador last weekend CARE's relief efforts have been relentless. PokerStars is proud to support the work of their emergency teams who right now are assessing the damage caused and distributing things like clean drinking water to those most affected. It's an awful situation with hundreds dead and 24,000 homeless. Many more are enduring the awful aftermath. CARE is in the middle and need your help.
2,000 StarsCoin equates to a $20 donation to CARE, a small amount when you consider it's enough to provide two families with clean water.
4. It's a knockout with KO Poker
A brand new promotion on PokerStars ensures the gloves are well and truly off. Or should that be on? KO Poker gives you the opportunity to win a share of $120,000 every week by taking part in our knockout poker challenges.
There are daily and weekly challenges to take on which run from today through to May 12 which win you entry into All-in Shootouts with big prizes.
What's more you can take part for free with a deposit of $15 or more. And before you think that's not free, you can use your deposit for whatever you want - we'll give you five tickets to these "knockouts". Just use the deposit code "KOPOKER2016" to see what we mean.
Find more details on the KO Poker homepage.
5. Yet more Card Hunt
It's the PokerStars promotion that won't go away, mainly because we don't want it to. Each day there's a chance to win up to $5,000. As we've explained various times before it's a case of opening your Challenges window in the PokerStars lobby and collecting the pieces to a puzzle. Do that and you're in for a treat.
We extended it until Saturday April 30, so there's still time to have some fun with it. Click here for a recap of how it works.
To all PokerStars players good luck at the tables this weekend. As always send your comments, success stories and tragic tales to us on Twitter: @PokerStarsBlog.
