Weekend results: PokerStars makes 200th millionaire

Well, this weekend was one for the books.

While Steve O'Dwyer and his mango (yes, mango) shocked absolutely no one by winning the PokerStars Championship Macau Super High Roller, and the coverage of the Main Event kicked off, PokerStars celebrated a big and rich anniversary.

Sunday marked the 11th anniversary celebration of the Sunday Million, and it was a big one. How big?

Well, it became the 200th time PokerStars paid someone a million bucks.

Panama's Xavi666 turned a straight against pocket kings on the final hand to win a ridiculous $1,093,204. You can watch the hand play out here.

To do it, Xavi666 played a marathon session against a field of 44,017 (many of whom re-entered to add up to 55,835 total entries).

A PokerStars player for 13 years, Xavi666 said, "I still don't believe it. Finally everything came together."

Xavi666 told himself from the very beginning he wasn't going to make any deals. He had a goal. "When there were four of us left, it seemed that taking the deal was the smart thing to do, but I declined. I wanted one million!"

And so he got it.
