The PokerStars Championship events in Barcelona are already underway, and within the next few hours we expect to know who will take the title in the €50,000 Super High Roller. The final table began with, as you might expect, some of the biggest names in the game, including Team Pros Igor Kurganov and Daniel Negreanu.

HALF-PRICE, FULL PRIZE POOL


Once again, the Sunday Million ran at half price, letting all comers in for the low, low price of $107.50. And come they did. By the time registration closed, there were more than 20,000 entries vying for a prize pool worth more than $2 million.

That meant a first prize worth more than $212,000, a good ROI no matter who you are. In the end, it was Uruguay's mdf92. Jason Kirk wrote the story of the final table right here:
