Help Rafa campaign selects first finalists
Well, Rafa asked for help, and you stepped up to baseline. PokerStars' newest sports ambassador, Rafa Nadal, announced last week that he has become a part of the PokerStars family. The only problem? He doesn't know a lot about poker. So, he asked you for help, and hundeds of you answered the call. Now, PokerStars has picked the first finalists in the Help Rafa campaign.
More than 550 people entered 30-second videos offering poker advice to the eleven-time Grand Slam champion. PokerStars announced the top five videos today, and we have them here.
Among the finalists you'll see a creative card explosion, an old school Rafa Rap, a grandmother offering advice on dressing for success, a big foamy finger, and (for those of you who like that kind of thing) pictures of Anna Kournikova.
The people who submitted these videos all have a shot to win some serious rewards. Everyone who submitted a video got a $22 MicroMillions main event tourney ticket. The finalists all have a shot at the grand prize: an EPT Barcelona prize package.
We have full details on how you can offer Rafa some advice. You'll find it all below this week's finalists' videos.
Some healthy advice in there, huh?
If you're ready to get in on the fun, here's how it works: PokerStars players can enter videos (in English) to firstname.lastname@example.org (email@example.com for Spanish speakers) that are up to 30 seconds long (no larger than 15MB, and be in one of the following supported file types: MP4, .AVI, .FLV, .MOV or .WMV). In that 30 seconds, you need to give Rafa advice on how to survive on his new poker playground. You can see lots of the advice videos on the Help Rafa channel on PokerStars.tv.
For full information, details, and rules, see the PokerStars Rafa Nadal homepage.
Congratulations to this week's finalists!
