It's the second Sunday in December, and there are only a few more chances to win your way to the 2014 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure! There are multiple chances to get in every week through satellites, and the $215 Weekly Final still has a few more $3,300 PS Women Live prize packages to give away. Get the details here!

It was a big day for the Women's Sunday, as a large field took to the tables for the $10K guaranteed tournament:

Total players: 263
Guarantee: $10,000.00
Prize pool: $12,150.00
Paid finishers: 45

Three members of Team PokerStars were in action this week, each with a $50 bounty on her virtual head. And all three of them went pretty deep in the tournament. Team Pro Liv Boeree finished in 64th place and Friend of PokerStars Charlotte "Sjlot" Van Brabander was next in 59th place.

As the final 45 burst into the money and the field dwindled, Team Online's Adrienne "talonchick" Rowsome was in the top five on the leaderboard. She did fall to the bottom half of the board when two tables were in play, but she continued to hang tough...

...until she pushed all-in with A♥4♣ from the small blind, only to be called by kittymstar and her A♣A♠ in the big blind. The board ran out 4♠7♥2♦2♣A♦, and kittmstar picked up the $50 bounty. Talonchick earned $197.25 for her 11th place finish.

That put the remaining 10 players in hand-for-hand action, and eventually, a big hand developed that saw mcsneaky8446 move all-in. Danechka1991 called, and Gracastle then raised all-in. Danechka1991 called that player, too, and showed A♠K♣. Gracastle was at risk with K♦K♠, and mcsneaky8446 was on the line with A♦J♥. The board came T♠9♠J♣2♠K♥, and Gracastle nearly tripled up while mcsneaky8446 exited in tenth place with $197.25.

Laimee leads

The final table was then set as follows:

Seat 1: danechka1991 (16,187 in chips)
Seat 2: laimee (226,875 in chips)
Seat 3: Gracastle (166,424 in chips)
Seat 4: pokerscat2k8 (30,771 in chips)
Seat 5: kittymstar (63,581 in chips)
Seat 6: MyCompanjera (102,788 in chips)
Seat 7: lizjoni1027 (14,653 in chips)
Seat 8: kragpoth (11,700 in chips)
Seat 9: Kloto1977 (156,021 in chips)

Danechka1991 was one of the shorter stacks at the final table but doubled through MyCompanjera on the first hand of action. And a few rounds later, Kloto1977 doubled through pokerscat2k8.

Kragpoth was the next to attempt a double-up and did so with A♥9♣ from early position. Laimee raised to isolate, which worked, and showed A♦Q♦. The board brought 2♠K♦J♦Q♥K♥ for two pair with which to eliminate kragpoth in ninth place with $230.12.

Suddenly, the pace increased. lizjoni1027 was down to less than 8K chips and pushed all-in from the small blind with J♠T♠. Kloto1977 called from the big blind with 6♣3♣ but made the flush on the 5♥J♣A♣T♦Q♣ board. Lizjoni1027 exited in eighth place for $315.60.

Just a few hands later, pokerscat2k8 made her move with A♣8♣ from the big blind. Original button raiser laimee called with Q♥Q♠ and only improved on the Q♦T♠7♣T♥J♠ to a full house. Pokerscat2k8 was out in seventh place with $447.10.

Three hands after that, danechka1991 got involved. The hand started with an UTG raise from laimee and reraise from Gracastle. Danechka1991 reraised all-in from the big blind with A♦K♦, and laimee folded. But Gracastle called with A♥T♦. It looked like a double-up opportunity for danechka1991 on the 6♥8♣8♠ flop and A♠ turn, but the T♣ river eliminated danechka1991 in sixth place with $578.60.

Kittymstar was the next player to risk her tournament and did so with 8♥8♠. Kloto1977 called from the small blind with 6♠6♥, which only improved to a straight as the dealer provided 4♦5♦2♦5♥3♥. Kittymstar was gone in fifth place with $749.55.

Gracastle then found an opportunity to double through Kloto1977 in this huge hand:

Kloto1977 then doubled back through Gracastle on the next hand for more than 99K chips, but Kloto1977 sought another a few hands later. Gracastle raised UTG and Kloto1977 called, as did laimee. The flop came J♠9♠8♦, and Kloto1977 bet all-in for 71,872 chips. Laimee called, and Gracastle rasied all-in. Laimee folded out of the way, and Gracastle showed 9♣9♥ for the flopped set. Kloto1977 turned over K♠T♣ for the straight draw. The 8♣ on the turn only gave Gracastle a full house, and though the 7♠ on the river made a straight for Kloto1977, it wasn't enough for the save. She exited in fourth place with $1,084.87.

Heavy three-handed battle

Gracastle led going into three-handed play with these counts on the leaderboard:

Seat 2: laimee (156,566 in chips)
Seat 3: Gracastle (528,354 in chips)
Seat 6: MyCompanjera (104,080 in chips)

And Gracastle dominated, taking hand after hand and staying very aggressive. Laimee was reduced to a short stack but did manage a double-up through MyCompanjera with T-7 over A-8. But MyCompanjera doubled back through laimee two hands later.

On the very next hand, laimee pushed all-in for 75,418 chips with Q♦J♠, and Gracastle reraised all-in with A♣5♠. MyCompanjera folded, and the board came Q♣A♥2♠7♠2♥. Gracastle had the best two pair, and laimee left in third place with $1,446.50.

Gracastle holds dominating heads-up lead

The final two players remaining were set to play it out as follows:

Seat 3: Gracastle (667,172 in chips)
Seat 6: MyCompanjera (121,828 in chips)

MyCompanjera searched for the right spot to make a move and did it with K♦9♣. Gracastle called with J♠9♠ but caught a jack on the T♦5♥J♦ flop. The J♥ on the turn made trips, and the 7♥ send MyCompanjera out in second place with $1,906.75.

Gracastle of Argentina won the tournament and $2,544.64 in cash. Congrats!
