Vanessa Selbst: "It's all about winning" in 2013 WCOOP

Let's just acknowledge that Vanessa Selbst is a good poker player. I doubt anyone would disagree with this statement.

Her live tournament poker results are impressive, to say the least. She has nearly $7.4 million in lifetime earnings, for a career that began with her first cash in mid-2006. Those results include two World Series of Poker bracelets, Partouche Poker Tour Main Event win, two L.A. Poker Classic titles, two World Poker Finals wins, NAPT Main Event wins two years in a row, a Festa al Lago victory, and the PCA High Roller title from earlier this year. That doesn't even include numerous final tables all over the world.

But what she doesn't have is an online poker title. And she wants one. So why not do it like everything else in her life and go for the most prestigious title out there?

That's what will motivate Vanessa Selbst in the upcoming 2013 World Championship of Online Poker. Since the series' inception in 2002, the WCOOP title is the one that online poker players want to win, and Selbst is no different.

You can compete alongside Selbst and other Team PokerStars Pros beginning on September 8. Satellites are already in progress, and stay tuned for a special WCOOP Women's promotion to be announced next week!
