MicroMillions 4 schedule announced, Zoom tournaments to debut

The big series with small buy-ins and a whole lot of heart is back. The fourth instalment of the hugely popular MicroMillions series is coming back 14-24 March with 100 scheduled events testing all disciplines and varieties. Buy-ins start from as little as $0.11 meaning this is a poker festival open to bankrolls of all sizes! We'll also be debuting the much anticipated Zoom poker tournament format. All this with a combined guaranteed prize pool of $5,000,000. Find out more here.

Last year the big guarantees and deep fields created some incredibly juicy payouts. The festival, which played out in November, clocked up 1,308,994 entries, making it the most played poker festival ever, and paid out $8,276,083.13. Considering the majority of buy-ins were $5 or less (one was as little as $0.11) that's a whole lot of prize pool. And don't forget, 28-year-old Aleksandr 'axel397' Malgin turned a $22 Main Event ticket into $140,062.92.

PokerStars Team Online member Andre 'acoimbra' Coimbra last year played all 100 MicroMillions II events (and you can see how he ended up here). He's currently deep into a new challenge...

"As part of my $100 to $100,000 bankroll challenge this year, I'll be playing a lot of MicroMillions tourneys over the next couple of weeks. It's such a fun series and it's one where players of all abilities and bankroll levels can take part to win huge prizes," said Coimbra.

Zoom poker tournaments

Zoom Poker
was launched on PokerStars almost a year ago and the MicroMillions will host its tounament debut. As in ring games you get reseated as soon as you fold right up until you get to the final three tables (which you'll obviously get to, right?) at which point the tournament will play out as normal.
