SCOOP 2015: Brammer bags a first title to headline another big day

ChristopherBrammer_scoop_15may15.jpgChris "NigDawG" Brammer won a first SCOOP title yesterday

The only real surprise about Chris Brammer's SCOOP win last night was that he hadn't already won one before. I checked, and then checked again, expecting to see his name pop up on the results charts we keep as one of those guys chasing a Triple COOP or PokerStars Grand Slam. He isn't. But after this latest result he's at least on his way.

Brammer, playing as "NigDawG" won event 14-M, no limit single draw, last night, picking up a first prize of $12,894 but more importantly that first SCOOP win. The task at hand was not an easy one either (are there ever easy ones?), with the final table also featuring the likes of Martin "nizmojiz" Kozlov who finished second, Darren "darrenelias" Elias in sixth and Mike "SirWatts" Watson in seventh. Read the full report by Jason Kirk here.

Elias would be in action elsewhere, as Kristin Bihr reported. Elias finished fourth in the Event 14-H event, again single draw, which also features some COOP heavyweights, such as Shawn "buck21" Buchanan and Stephen "Stevie444" Chidwick. But it would be won by the relative newcomer Kashmir_uzi, who found himself to still be standing as the other fell away.

As for everything else that happened since yesterday, well you can scroll down for the box scores. For some reason six events feels like a slow day. Anyway, click on the event name of each to read the full event report.
