WCOOP 2017: magiet12 magical come-from-behind victory in Event #19-H ($1,050+R PLO 6-Max)

Four out of seven players at WCOOP Event #19-H PLO final table were former SCOOP champions, including 2-time COOP winner omaha4rollz and 2-time SCOOP winner German pro Benny 'toweliestar' Spindler. Hungary's omaha4rollz sought a second-career WCOOP after winning his first two years ago. However, omaha4rollz's quested ended in third place, which set up a heads-up bout between SHiiPTHATiSH and magiet12. The two arranged a deal and chopped up the money, but slugged it out for the title and the glory. SHiiPTHATiSH commenced heads-up with a 10-1 edge, but squandered it away. magiet12 pulled off a miraculous comeback to win the PLO crown. SHiiPTHATiSH settled on a runner-up finish and Poland's magiet12 shipped WCOOP Event #19-H for a six-figure score.

DEAL

Action was paused to discuss a deal. SHiiPTHATiSH's stack shrunk to 4.4M and magiet12 improved to 2.3M. Any deal had to leave $11,040 on the table to the champion. The numbers were floated: SHiiPTHATiSH $93,592.33 and magiet12 $88,690.41. magiet12 wanted a few more bucks (approximately $350) to make sure he got a min-six-figure payout and $100K score upon winning the heads-up match. MONKEY IN YOUR SOUL: SHiiPTHATiSH eliminated in 2nd place; magiet12 rallies to win Event #19-H!

With a flush and straight potential on the board of J♥8♠8♣6♣5♣ magiet12 made a crying call. "Okay, nothing I can do," said magiet12 before calling with A♥K♦8♦4♥ and trip eights... which ended up being good. SHiiPTHATiSH got caught with his hand in the cookie jar and lost the pot and the lead. SHiiPTHATiSH trailed 4.7M to 1.9M. Three hands later and it would be all over.
