MicroMillions 6: Severisimo serves up win in Event #70 $5.50 NL

Sometimes a final table seems like it is going to go on forever. Even with redonkulously high and escalating blinds, there's still no end in sight and it seems that no one wants to bust because whenever a short-stack moves all-in, they magically double up. The final table for MicroMillions Event #70 started out at normal speed, but slowed down to a snail-stuck-in-molasses pace as the final table progressed over several hours. Action stalled even more so with four to go, until a maelstrom of action finally picked up. When the dust settled, only one person was left standing -- Portugal's Severisimo.

MicroMillions 6 Event #70 $5.50 NL attracted 10,040 runners. They boosted the prize pool to $50,200. The top 1,200 places paid out, with $7,389.10 originally set aside to the eventual champion. That was a juicy payout for a a modest $5 buy-in.

MajorGoblin bubbled off the final table in tenth place when A♦9♠ lost to Severisimo's A♠J♥ after the board ran out A♣7♦6♥7♥6♣. With MajorGoblin's bustout, the final table of nine was set.
