MicroMillions 7: HansMSM the Zoom Master; Binks Event #4 [$5.50 NL Turbo, Zoom]

Turbo Zoom. Just writing those two words makes my mouth water like Pavlov's frothing dog. Those two enticing and action-inducing words attracted a Zoom-centric crowd big enough to fill a football stadium. It only took 5 hours and 36 minutes before Argentina's HansMSM bested a field of 22,907 runners and emerged unscathed as the newest MicroMillions 7 champion.

MicroMillions 7 Event #4 $5.50 NL [Turbo, Zoom] drew in 22,097 participants, who created a prize pool worth $110,485.00. The top 3,150 places paid out with $11,064.22 originally set aside to the eventual champion.

Team PokerStars Pros Martin Hruby and PokerStars Team Online Tyler "frosty012" Frost took a shot at a MicroMillions title, but neither advanced to the money.

When action went hand-for-hand with ten remaining, Greece's klearchos21 made final stand with A♣Q♦ against Jacky0109's A♠K♠. Jacky0109's Big Slick held up and klearchos21 bubbled off the final table in tenth place. The final table of nine was set.

powersellero eliminated in 9th place

Battle of the blinds. Small blind powersellero bombed it all-in for 9,008,676 and san4o_as called from the big blind. Coinflip, but powersellero led with 7♠7♣ against san4o_as's K♥J♥. The board ran out A♥A♦8♣K♣5♥. san4o_as turned two pair to take the lead and powersellero failed to improve on the river. Russia's powersellero became the first player to get knocked out at the final table and earned $662.91 for ninth place.

strflushtome eliminated in 8th place

Short-stacked strflushtome moved all-in for 6,437,220 with A♠7♥ and ptq1905 called with 7♠7♦. Another race. The board finished up T♦8♦6♠6♥K♥. ptq1905's pocket sevens held up and won the pot with two pair -- eights and sevens. The Netherlands' strflushtome failed to improve and busted in eighth place, which paid out $994.36.

palser eliminated in 7th place

The U.K.'s palser shoved all-in for 8,667,636 and made a final stand with A♦J♦. Big-stacked san4o_as called from the big blind after waking up with A♣K♠. The board ran out 8♦6♥2♠5♦7♠. san4o_as' Big Slick held up. For seventh place, palser took home $1,552.31.

With six players remaining, san4o_as held the lead with 34.2 million and Jacky0109 brought up the rear with 8.2 million.

Jacky0109 eliminated in 6th place

Another shorty made a final stand when Jacky0109 moved all-in for 7,790,376. HansMSM called with 3♦3♣ and was racing against Jacky0109's A♥T♥. The board ran out K♠8♣5♥J♦6♠. Jacky0109 turned a Broadway gutshot, but failed to improve on the river. HansMSM's pocket treys held up to win the race and the pot. For a sixth-place performance, Jacky0109 collected $2,209.70.

With five to go, HansMSM seized the lead with 45.3 million. HansMSM would cough up the lead 11 hands later after losing a 26 million pot when his Jacks were picked off by ptq1905's A♣Q♦.

ClayftKnight eliminated in 5th place

Action did not last five-handed very long before ClayftKnight bombed it all-in for 11,274,376 with A♠J♦ against sioz21's A♦Q♠. The board finished up 8♦5♦3♣4♣5♣. Both players failed to improve, but ClayftKnight lost the pot when he was outkicked by sioz21. ClayftKnight went busto in fifth place, which paid out $3,314.55.

With four to go, action was paused to discuss a deal. HansMSM retained the lead with almost 41 million. Second place sioz21 sat on a stack worth 33.5 million, while ptq1905 was third with 26.4 million, and san4o_as was the shorty with 9.6 million.

The initial deal numbers were floated with $1,500 left on the table to the champion: HansMSM ($8,143.83), sioz21 ($7,450.62), ptq1905 ($6,825.72), and san4o_as ($5,297.84). The deal ran into some resistance when san4o_as demanded more money. After a tense negotiation, san4o_as accepted the original terms of the deal. With everyone in accordance and a deal locked up, play resumed.

san4o_as eliminated in 4th place

After the deal was settled, we saw a quick elimination when sioz21 min-raised to 5 million and super-shorty san4o_as called all-in for 1,519,911. sioz21 led with A♦5♦ vs. A♣2♥. The flop was 8♦5♠4♣. Although sioz21 solidified the lead with a pair of fives, san4o_as picked up a Wheel gutshot draw. The turn was the 8♣ and the river was the 8♠. sioz21 won the pot with a full house. Alas, san4o_as failed to improve and hit the virtual rail in fourth place, which paid out $5,297.84.

sioz21 eliminated in 3rd place

Three-handed also went quick. Lasted only six hands. ptq1905 moved all-in for 28,094,452 and sioz21 called. ptq1905 led with A♠3♠ against sioz21's K♦Q♥. The board ran out A♥9♣8♥7♥2♦. ptq1905 flopped an Ace and won the pot with a pair of Aces. Greece's sioz21 busted out in third place, which paid out $7,450.62.

Seat 4: HansMSM (56,915,040)
Seat 5: ptq1905 (53,569,960)

With two remaining, HansMSM held a slim lead of 3.4 million, or slightly more than one big blind. Heads-up lasted 14 hands. In the first 13 hands, HansMSM slowly pulled away and built up a 25 million chip advantage.

ptq1905 eliminated in 2nd place; HansMSM wins MicroMillons 7 - Event #4

Going into the final hand, a raising war broke out preflop.
