MicroMillions 7: julsop holds off polarop to win Event #77 ($2.20 NL Omaha 6-Max, 3x-Turbo)
With three players remaining, it seemed like polarop couldn't be stopped. Once he eliminated the fourth and fifth-place finishers, polarop had more than twice the stack of julsop, his closest competitor. It took a cooler of a hand where julsop made a jack-high straight over polarop's nine-high straight to put him back in business, and after busting GrantS61 in third place, julsop and polarop went into heads-up play with dead-even stacks. The two agreed to chop the prize money evenly and play for glory and an extra $800, julsop coming out on top to win his first MicroMillions title.
Event #77's 5,688 players made 26,783 rebuys and 2,269 add-ons, resulting in a $69,480 prize pool. 720 places were paid with first place set to earn $10,599.08. Team Online's Caio Pessagno flew the flag for the Red Spades in this event, but he unfortunately made an early exit.
Blinds were up to 400,000/800,000 with seven players remaining. On the three-handed table, Stella739 limped in on the button for 800,000, chami888 completed the small blind, and polarop checked his option. The flop fell J♠T♦5♠ and the action checked to Stella739, who bet 2.4 million. Chami888 shoved for 8.33 million and polarop reshoved for 37.9 million behind him, folding out Stella739. When the cards went on their backs it revealed a set over set cooler Polarop's J♦J♣9♠2♥ hitting a set of jacks while chami888's 8♦5♥5♣3♠ made a set of fives. Polarop locked up the hand when the J♥ turn made him quads and chami888 was out on the final table bubble.

abcdefgrl eliminated in sixth place
Both short stacks doubled up in the early going. Asmara64 was the first to do so when his K♠K♦5♣4♣ held up against polarop's Q♣J♣J♦4♥, good for 17.1 million. A few orbits later, abcdefgrl open-shoved for 2.2 million and Stella739 called from the big blind. Abcdefgrl's T♥T♣5♣3♠ hung on vs. Stella739's T♠7♦6♣5♥ and she doubled to 5.48 million.
However, six hands later, abcdefgrl put her tournament life at risk again, open-shoving for 6.48 million from UTG. Stella739 called from the big blind.
Stella739's kings held up on the 4♠3♥2♥2♠8♣ board and abcdefgrl was eliminated in sixth place, earning $1,042.20.
polarop pops Stella739 in fifth
Stella739 fell to 20 million when polarop rivered a full house against her in an 18.6 million pot and continued to slide, bottoming out at 8.8 million in chips. With the blinds up to 900K/1.8M, polarop opened for 3.6 million and Stella739 called from the cutoff with A♣9♠7♣6♠. Polarop led out for 7.2 million on the 7♠3♣3♥ flop and Stella739 called all-in for 5.02 million. Polarop's Q♥T♦8♥6♦ did not improve and Stella739 doubled to 20.8 million.
Moments later, polarop raised it up to 3.6 million again and both Stella739 and julsop called. Julsop checked to polarop on the A♣Q♣2♣ flop and he bet 4.5 million Stella739 called and julsop folded. The turn came the 7♥ and polarop fired 18.9 million, more than enough to set Stella739 all-in. Stella739 called, revealing A♦K♦7♦2♥ for aces up. Polarop, however, had flopped the nut flush with K♠K♣J♣9♣. The river blanked with the 6♥ and Stella739 was eliminated in fifth place, good for $1,969.75.
asmara64 runs into aces, finishes fourth
The blinds rose to 1.05M/2.1M and with the action folded to him in the small blind, asmara64 moved in for 23.5 million wit A♥K♣9♥2♦. Polarop, however, woke up with A♣A♠Q♠6♠ in the big blind and made queens full on the Q♣Q♥8♥6♦T♥ board. Asmara64 was out in fourth place, good for $3,300.30.
julsop can't stop
As three-handed play commenced, polarop was way out in front with 96 million, julsop was second with 41.3 million and GrantS61 was the short stack with 28 million.
Fireworks flew only three hands after asmara64's elimination, when julsop and polarop went to war on a 2♠6♣7♥9♦ board. All the money went in on the turn, polarop holding 5♣6♠7♠8♣ for a nine-high straight while julsop showed 8♠T♣Q♥K♦ for a ten-high straight. Julsop improved further to a jack-high straight when the J♠ rivered and he doubled to 77.9 million, leaving polarop on 60.6 million.
Julsop passed the 100 million mark when he fired 12 million n a Q♠4♠2♦8♦ board and polarop gave up his hand. However, a couple orbits later, polarop doubled back through julsop when he made a superior two pair:
Two hands later, julsop opened for 5.6 million on the button and GrantS61 called from the small blind. GrantS61 pulled a stop-n-go and moved all-in for 9.66 million on the A♦K♣5♦ flop and julsop looked him up.
Julsop turned an ace-high flush when the 2♦ fell and eliminated GrantS61 in third place ($5,384.70).

Seat 3: julsop (82,005,216 in chips)
Seat 5: polarop (83,477,784 in chips)
Their chip counts nearly even, julsop and polarop immediately agreed to pause the action and discuss a potential deal. They quickly agreed to an even chop, awarding each of them $8,634.09. With an extra $800 and the title still up for grabs, cards went back in the air.
Julsop ground his stack up to 96 million and passed 115 million when polarop folded to his 22.4 million river bet on a 7♠2♦2♠Q♠A♠ board. Then, with the blinds up to 1.6M/3.2M, polarop opened for a 6.4 million min-raise and julsop called from the big blind. Both players checked the T♠7♥4♦ flop. The turn came the J♦ and julsop led out for 9.6 million. Polarop called and they went to the river, which fell the 4♣. Julsop bet 12.8 million and polarop called. Julstop turned over T♣9♥9♣4♠ for a full house and polarop mucked, conceding the 58.2 million pot.
Three hands later, julsop claimed polarop's remaining 28.8 million and closed out the win:
