MicroMillions 7: vitocistic victorious in Event #87 ($3.30 FL Hold'em 6-Max, Turbo)

Vitocistic arrived at this final table under dream circumstances. Holding 50% of the chips in play, he boasted almost triple the stack of his closest competitor and the betting limits were high enough to demand action from the short stacks. It took only 26 hands and nine minutes for vitocistic to acquire every remaining chip in the tournament, capping off a dominating 6-Max limit hold'em performance in Event #87.

6,825 players lined up to min-bet and raise their way to victory, the prize pool topping out at $20,475, more than double the $10k guarantee. 900 places were paid with first place set to earn $3,075.46. A quartet of Red Spades joined the action, including Martin Hruby, Christophe De Meulder, and Felix "xflixx" Schneiders. But it was Team Online's resident mum-to-be Adrienne "talonchick" Rowsome who made the deepest run among them, finishing in 55th place.

Betting limits were up to 500,000/1,000,000 on the final table bubble. Hughes_007 was the shortest stack remaining with only 730,600 in chips, but before he could look at his cards, zanzi_07 opened for a raise and chip leader vitocistic three-bet to 1.5 million. Hughes_007 folded, zanzi_07 capped and vitocistic called. The rest of zanzi_07's chips went in on the 8♠4♠3♣ flop, his K♠3♥ in dire shape vs. Q♦Q♥. The turn and river fell the 9♠ and the T♣, ending zanzi_07's run in seventh place and sending us to the final table.

FART789 blows away Hughes_007

No doubt thrilled to make the final table with only half a small bet remaining, Hughes_007 was all-in from the big blind on Hand #3 and tripled up when his A♦2♦ held vs. vitocistic's J♦9♣. Hughes_007 hung on for five more hands before calling all-in from UTG with K♥J♦. FART789 completed the small blind and ArhipIvan checked his option. Both active players checked the J♠9♣3♣ flop, but when the 8♣ turned, FART789 led out for 1.2 million. ArhipIvan folded and FART789 turned up 7♥T♠ for a jack-high straight. Hughes_007 was drawing dead and departed in sixth place ($307.12).

hoèko outflops ArhipIvan

On the next deal, the action folded around to ArhipIvan, who raised all-in for his last 888,516. Hoèko called from the big blind, his J♦7♠ trailing ArhipIva's A♦Q♣. However, hoèko picked up a pair of jacks on the K♦J♣8♦ flop to wrest away the lead. ArhipIvan didn't improve on the 6♣ turn or the 3♦ river and hit the rail in fifth place ($514.33).

VeSeLink1 runs nines into aces

Four hands later, second-in-chips VeSeLink1 opened for a raise to 1.2 million. Vitocistic three-bet to 1.8 million from the big blind and VeSeLink1 called. The flop fell 4♥3♥3♣ and vitocistic led off a raising war that ended with the betting capped. The turn came the 5♥ and vitocistic fired for 1.2 million. VeSeLink1 raised all-in for 1.37 million and vitocistic called, his A♦A♣ crushing VeSeLink1's 9♠9♣ VeSeLink1 didn't pull off a two-out miracle on the river and went out in fourth place, earning $921.27.

vitocistic dominates hoèko

Then, on the very next deal, hoèko opened for a raise, vitocistic three-bet from the small blind, and hoèko capped. The rest of hoèko's stack went in on the 7♣6♠5c] flop, but his A♠T♥ was in poor shape against vitocistic's A♣Q♠. The K♠ turn didn't help, nor did the 9♦ river and hoèko's run came to an end in third place, good for $1,535.62.

Heads-up chip counts

Seat 3: vitocistic (30,609,881 in chips)
Seat 5: FART789 (3,515,119 in chips)

Although vitocistic held nearly a 10 to 1 chip lead, FART789 put up a stiff fight. On the fourth hand of the heads-up match, FART789 capped the betting pre flop and bet out from position on every street of the A♦9♥8♣2♣2♦ board. Vitocistic folded the river and FART789 moved up to nearly 9 million in chips.

Vitocistic stormed back two hands later in another capped pot. Vitocistic led out for 800,000 on the K♥K♠7♣ flop, FART789 raised and vitocistic called. Vitocistic fired again on the 8♦ turn and the 4♦ river, FART789 looking him up in both spots. Vitocistic turned over 7♥8♥ for kings and eights and took down the 16 million pot.

Left with only 2.1 million after the hand, FART789 doubled on the next hand when his A♥T♥ held up against Q♠7♣. However, FART789 couldn't be saved from one final, dominated hand, and vitocistic cruised to victory:

Congratulations to vitocistic on a dominating final table performance! He earned $3,075.46 for the win while runner-up FART789 cleared $2,149.87.
