Neither player improved but Nebelwald won the pot with a better kicker. Belgium's samzgeig became the first player to bust at the final table. For a ninth-place finish, samzgeig took home $387.91.

Classic race: sedoy287 led slightly with 7♦7♣ versus Nikolo5's A♣K♣. The flop was 5♣4♠3♠ and both players picked up a straight draw. The Q♣ on the turn gave Nikolo5 more outs with a flush draw. However, the Q♥ fell on the turn and did not improve anyone's hand. sedoy287 dragged the pot with two pair -- Queens and sevens. Russia's Nikolo5 failed to improve his Big Slick and went busto in seventh place, which paid out $969.37.

Heads-up. devils_range made a valiant final stand with A♥J♣ but unfortunately, sedoy287 woke up to find A♠A♦. The board ran out T♣9♥3♦9♣8♣. sedoy287's pocket rockets held up to win the pot with two pair -- Aces and nines. For sixth place, devils_range earned $1,396.31.

Add another bounty to sedoy287's collection with an additional $166.11 for picking off devils_range. Meanwhile, sedoy287's own bounty ballooned to $1,521.47

With five remaining, sedoy287 retained the lead with 16.5M, with former-leader Nebelwald in second place holding steady with 11.5M. Only 1.2M separated the bottom three: -S6M9C0- 7M, OLBEN990 6.4M, and baja5tref 5.8M.

One moment you're on top of the world and the next moment you're digging your own grave. sedoy278 coughed up the lead after Nebelwald doubled up in a 8.7M pot. sedoy278 went from being the hunter to becoming the hunted. After losing a couple of small pots, sedoy287 was in trouble and desperately looking to win a pot to stop the bleeding.

And then it happened... baja5tref min-raised to 1.2M, and sedoy287 called from the small blind. The flop was T♥7♦2♥. sedoy287 fired out 2.4M and baja5tref called. The turn was the 3♠. sedoy287 moved all-in for 2,332,183 and baja5tref called. baja5tref flopped a set of deuces with 2♣2♦, while sedoy287 was in trouble with Q♥T♦ and only a pair of Queens. The J♥ fell on the river. baja5tref won the pot with a set. Russia's sedoy287 busted out in fifth place, which paid out $2,094.07. Action was paused to discuss a deal. The terms of the ICM chop included: Nebelwald ($5,034.40), OLBEN990 ($4,869.95), and baja5tref ($4,810.30). They also had to leave $1,500 on the table to the eventual champion.

OLBEN990 failed an opportunity to knockout baja5tref, who was in deep trouble with A♠T♥ versus OLBEN990's A♣J♠. Alas, it was baja5tref's turn to come-from-behind and hit the flop. The T♦ on the flop was all that baja5tref needed to avoid elimination and double up in a pot worth 35M. At that point, baja5tref led 35M to 12M. Two hands later, it was all over.
