MicroMillions 8: nana9dmnd binks Event #69 ($3.30 NL Single Draw 2-7)

Old School. It's a term that gets thrown around a lot more than it should, but when it comes to Single Draw Deuce to Seven, I can't think of more of an "Old School" game. It's really a throwback to the earliest days of tournament poker in Las Vegas, when low-ball games were hip and you could easily identify the sharks because they were the hustlers wearing cowboy hats.

Yet, fifty years later, Single Draw 2-7 has spread to the farthest corners of the world to become an international game. Want proof? Six different countries were represented at the final table of MircoMillions 8 Event #69. When the proverbial dust settled, Russia's nana9dmnd emerged from the ruble as the newest MicroMillions 8 champion.

MicroMillions 8 Event #69 $3.30 NL Single Draw 2-7 attracted 3,609 runners. The prize pool was $10,827.00, or more than double the initial guarantee. The top 462 places paid out with $1,247.00 set aside to the eventual champion.
