MicroMillions 4: Second time's the charm for MyScarHand in Event #87 ($3.30 FL Hold'em 6-Max Turbo)
MyScarHand's avatar isn't easy to forget, a gray, dismembered right hand of a mannequin lying on a patch of grass. A quick bit of research confirmed our deja vu. MyScarHand is one of only five players to make two final tables in the MicroMillions 4. Five days ago he finished sixth in Event #42 ($5.50 NLHE) and tonight he closed out a title, winning Event #87 ($3.30 FL Hold'em 6-Max Turbo) for over $3,500.
7,810 players turned out for the final limit hold'em event of the MicroMillions 4, creating a $23,430 prize pool that more than doubled the guarantee. 1,020 places were paid with first place set to earn $3,519.30. Team Pro Martin Hruby was the lone Red Spade in the field and cashed in 190th place .
It only took a little over two hours to burst the money bubble in this short-handed turbo event and about ninety minutes after that, seven players remained. With the betting limits up to 400,000/800,000 and 1.8 million behind, cabreton opened for a raise to 800,000 and called MyScarHand's three-bet. MyScarHand led out for 400,000 on the 9♠6♣4♣ flop and cabreton called. The turn came the 2♣ and MyScarHand led out again. Cabreton called all-in for his last 220,000, revealing K♥T♣ for a ten-flush draw. MyScarHand led with A♦7♣ and survived the J♦ on the river to send cabreton to the rail on the final table bubble.

Skyrim-666 snares shichi-77, vlad1320
The first hand of the final table also brought its first elimination. Shichi-77 committed his last million in chips preflop, skyrim-666 and vlad1320 going on to cap the betting. Both active players checked the A♦9♦4♥ flop and vlad1320 check-called a bet from skyrim-666 on the turn. The river was the 7♣ and they checked it down, skyrim-666 revealing K♠K♦ and vlad1320 turning up Q♦Q♥. Shichi-77 mucked and was eliminated in sixth place while skyrim-666 raked in the 7.5 million pot.
Five hands passed before skyrim-666 and vlad1320 clashed again. The betting limits up to 500,000/1,000,000, skyrim opened for a raise from UTG and vlad1320 three-bet to 1.5 million from the small blind. Skyrim-666 called and they saw a K♣3♣2♥ flop. Vlad1320 bet and skyrim-666 called. Vlad1320 led out again when the J♠ hit the turn and put in his last 75,000 on the river, skyrim-666 calling him down. Ace high turned out to be good in this hand, but not for vlad1320, his A♣8♠ losing the kicker war to skyrim-666's A♦Q♦. For his fifth-place finish, vlad1320 picked up $585.75.
MyScarHand strikes twice
With the field down to four, skyrim-666 held the chip lead with 13.3 million, MyScarHand was close behind with 11 million, pantela67 had 8.2 million and sbtesalop was the short stack with 6.5 million. After three-betting skyrim-66 preflop and being raised off a K♥J♦T♦ flop, sbtesalop sank to only 3.6 million in chips. Three hands later, sbtesalop put the rest of his chips in on a 9♠5♣2♥ flop vs. MyScarHand. Holding Q♠J♥, sbtesalop needed to pair one of his overcards while MyScarHand flopped middle pair with A♣5♦. Sbtesalop missed his outs, the turn and river falling the 6♠ and the 9♣ to send him to the rail in fourth place ($1,054.35).
Pantela67 blinded down to 3.7 million before committing the rest of his chips on a 7♥4♦3♠ flop vs. MyScarHand. Pantela67's K♣9♦ led MyScarHand's J♣6♣, but MyScarHand hit the 5♦ on the turn to make a seven-high straight. A now-useless king hit the river and pantela67's run came to an end in third place ($1,757.25).
Heads-up chip counts
Seat 1: skyrim-666 (12,761,692 in chips)
Seat 3: MyScarHand (26,288,308 in chips)
MyScarHand and skyrim-666 led off heads-up play with a huge pot, skyrim-666 three-betting to 2.4 million preflop and MyScarHand making the call. Skyrim-666 fired out three times on the J♦8♣2♥8♥Q♠ board and MyScarHand called him down with J♠5♦. Skyrim-666 only had A♠T♦ and gave up the 12.8 million pot.
That hand left skyrim-666 on only 6.3 million, and although he won a small pot to move up to 8.3 million, he quickly lost those chips back to MyScarHand, who turned top pair on a 9♣3♦2♣Q♥J♣ board. Left with only 1.16 million in chips, skyrim-666 managed to double up twice, but couldn't make it 3 for 3. The last of skyrim-666's chips went in on the river with a pair of deuces, but MyScarHand had turned a pair of aces to lock up the win.
Congratulations to MyScarHand on a well-deserved MicroMillions victory. He picked up $3,519.30 for the win while runner-up skyrim-666 earned $2,460.15.
