MicroMillions 5: Main event guarantees $1 million this weekend
We like to think of MicroMillions as the biggest little tournament in the world: low buy-ins, big fields, big payoffs. It delivers on every count.
When it comes time for the main event, however, it's hard to believe that the buy-in is still so small.
This Sunday at 14:30 ET, the MicroMillions 5 main event will guarantee a $1 million prize pool. First place is a guaranteed $150,000. That's the kind of thing you might expect to see on a Sunday major tournament lobby with a sizable buy-in.
More than 4,400 players are already signed up, and satellites to the main event will be running all weekend.
Meanwhile, the Player of the Series race is tight and coming down to the final weekend. Here are the top ten players in contention for the first place prize, a $5,200 2013 WCOOP main event ticket.
