MicroMillions 6: kersyitalian scores $25k in Event #20 ($2.22+R NLHE [3x-Turbo, Saturday Splash Special Edition])
In what universe can a $2 rebuy event draw a quarter-million dollar prize pool and pay out over $25k to first? Welcome to the MicroMillions, where guarantees are smashed, ROIs border on the absurd, and low-stakes MTTers turn loose change into serious coin in every single event. Today's Saturday Splash Special Edition did just that, drawing 24,064 players. Their 90,229 rebuys and 13,110 add-ons pushed the prize pool well past the guarantee to a total of $257,354.06, and the top 3,150 carved it up with first place set to earn $25,751.83. Five Red Spades joined this massive field and two of them cashed, Andre Coimbra (2,099th) and Grzegorz "DaWarsaw" Mikielewicz (1,443rd).
Blinds were up to 2.25M/4.5M and with eleven players remaining, rogeriolucas was under-the-gun with only 3.35 million remaining-- less than one big blind. However, before he decided to act, ElaraMoon open-shoved for his remaining 19.5 million with pocket eights. Unfortunately for ElaraMoon, Renau turned up pocket jacks in the small blind and flopped a set to boot. ElaraMoon went out in 11th place and rogeriolucas folded his hand. To rogeriolucas's direct left, ALLINALEO moved all-in for 13.8 million with K♥Q♥ and **Geka**555 called with A♦K♣. **Geka**555 flopped an ace, turned trips and rivered aces full of kings, sending ALLINALEO home on the final table bubble.

rogeriolucas gets a raise, KILLUMINATOR coolered by kings
Rogeriolucas's micro-stacked high-wire act earned him a $579.05 pay jump from tenth place. Although he doubled up on the second hand of the final table, his A♥T♥ dominating Renau's A♣9♠, his stack was quickly eaten away by the 500k antes. All-in from the big blind, rogeriolucas's 5♥6♥ flopped a five, but didn't improve any further vs. **Geka**555's pocket sixes. Rogeriolucas exited in ninth place, good for $1,522.12.
KILLUMNATOR found pocket jacks UTG+1 and four-bet shoved for 67.7 million over petrovitsh69's 56.5 million three-bet. Petrovitsh69 snap-called, revealing K♥K♣. A king hit the flop and petrovitsh69 boated up on the turn, sending KILLUMINATOR to the rail in eighth place ($2,316.18).
**Geka**555 falls and rises as Renau's luck runs afoul
**Geka**555 moved into the chip lead with 190 million, but suffered a couple of setbacks soon after. First, **Geka**555 doubled up kersyitalian when his A♥Q♣ lost a race against pocket sixes. Only a few hands later, **Geka**555 got extremely unlucky against loltoblerone. All-in with A♦9♦ vs. **Geka**555's A♠Q♠, loltoblerone spiked a nine on the river to save his tournament life and **Geka**555 slipped below 100 million.
Petrovitsh69 scored another knockout when AndreV18 moved his last 10BB in with 7♦5♥. Petrovitsh69 called with pocket fours and rivered a set, the board running out A♣Q♥2♠K♦4♦. AndreV18 was out in seventh place, earning $3,615.82 for his run.
Down to 85 million in chips, **Geka**555 got the rest of his chips in pre flop with T♣T♠ only to run into Renau's A♦A♠. Renau's aces held up through the turn only to be shot down on the river. **Geka**555 spiked a two-outer, hitting the T♥ to make a set and double to 183 million.
Now Renau was the one one down to 85 million. One orbit later he moved in from UTG+1 with A♥J♦ and loltoblerone called, his K♦J♥ dominated. However, Renau's nasty run of luck continued when a king hit the turn, giving loltoblerone the lead. Renau needed an ace to survive but didn't get one on the river and hit the rail in sixth place ($5,147.08).
After Renau's elimination, several players broached the subject of a potential deal. With the average stack hovering around ten big blinds, it certainly wasn't the worst idea. However, petrovitsh69 decided to hold out and play continued, the blinds rising to a stratospheric 5M/10M.
The Biggest Cooler
**Geka**555 kept the coolers coming when he picked up J♣J♠ against kokonakueka's T♥T♣. Kokonakueka fell out of the chip lead and was left with 153 million. **Geka**555 didn't stay on top too long, though. Kersyitalian open-shoved for 150 million with K♥T♠ and petrovitsh69 called all-in for less with A♥T♣. However, the K♣T♦2♥ flop fell perfectly for kersyitalian, his dominated hand making top two pair. Petrovitsh69 did not catch an ace and was eliminated in fifth place, earning $7,720.62.
Kersyitalian took the chip lead with 249 million, but ran into a buzz saw when he made a small blind shove with 7♦9♦ into loltoblerone's A♦A♠ in the big. Now loltoblerone was out front with 250 million in chips.
But the action couldn't subside, even for one hand. On the next deal kersyitalian open-shoved for 166 million on the button, loltoblerone reshoved from the small blind and kokonakueka called all-in from the big.
The Q♠T♣2♣ flop was a doozy; kokonakueka made top set, loltoblerone hit middle set, and kersyitalian picked up an open-ended straight draw! The 6♥ turn was a blank, but kersyitalian rivered a king-high straight with the 9♦, sending kokonakueka's top set up in flames. Kersyitalian tripled to 440 million and kokoknakueka was eliminated in fourth place, collecting $10,294.16.
kersyitalian ousts loltoblerone
Once again, loltoblerone picked up a monster hand in the big blind, looking down at Q♠Q♥ when kersyitalian made a small blind shove with 5♦9♦. Loltoblerone's queens turned a set and he doubled to 208.5 million. Five hands later, **Geka**555 got his turn to double through the chip leader, his K♦Q♠ turning a queen against kersyitalian's A♠J♥.
However, kersyitalian got his groove back four hands after that, his T♥T♠ brushing loltoblerone's 2♦2♥ in a pre flop all-in. Loltoblerone didn't find a deuce on the board and was eliminated in third place, good for $12,867.70.
Heads-up chip counts
Seat 1: kersyitalian (228,124,144 in chips)
Seat 8: **Geka**555 (508,054,856 in chips)
**Geka**555 brought a 2.2 to 1 chip lead into heads-up play but quickly lost ground. Kersyitalian chipped up to 277.5 million before picking up K♦J♦ on the button. He min-raised to 30 million and **Geka**555 called from the big blind with 4♦5♥. Kersyitalian hit top pair on the J♣5♣2♠ flop while **Geka**555 made middle pair. Kersyitalian led out for 45 million, **Geka**555 shoved and kersyitalian called all-in. **Geka**555 didn't catch another four or fie and slipped to 181 million while kersyitalian doubled to 555 million.
It was all over on the next hand. **Geka**555 open-shoved with Q♠5♠ and kersyitalian called with K♦7♣. Kersyitalian's king-high held up and he joined the ranks of MicroMillions champions.
Congratulations to kersyitalian of the Netherlands on defeating over 24,000 players! He banked $25,751.83 for the win while runner-up **Geka**555 earned $19,123.98.
