MicroMillions 7: deporter94 stamps out the field in the Saturday Splash special edition Event #85 ($2.22+R NLHE, 3X-Turbo)

$150,000 guarantee for a two buck buy-in? Did someone at PokerStars headquarters miss a decimal point? Today's MicroMillions 7 Event #85 $2.22 + rebuys took over the usual Saturday Splash. The 15,454 players were trigger happy today after piling up 65,910 rebuys and 7,903 add-ons to knock over the guarantee and make PokerStars HQ look smart once again. After just six hours of play deporter94 took care of everyone's passport and claimed the huge $22,549.93 first place prize.

At the five hour mark only 18 players remained as the Saturday Splash Special Edition raged on with nevjerovatno finding pocket aces at the right time because valera1976 held pocket kings and 63.5 million chips would fall nevjerovatno's way to mark the first elimination from the final two tables.

PREVED-_-l (Ukraine), KsKexpress23 (Germany), and 1234567780 (Germany) would fall in the next 15 minutes in 15th through 17th place as the blinds moved up to 1.4MM/2.8MM ante 280K with an average stack just above 10BBs. Among those remaining through the carnage of turbo blinds one player was looking for a second title of this series. MrP0P took down Event #34 last week for $4,320.21 in a turbo shootout format. Imbusz (Hungary), snegovini (Russia), and sahists (Latvia) checked out in 11th through 13th place bringing up hand-for-hand play halfway through the sixth hour.

Then with the blinds holding at 1.4MM/2.8MM ante 280K Z0neX would shove for 11 million folding around to the chip leader deporter94 facing a math call while holding over 100 million in chips. After a little thought deporter94 made the call holding 6♦7♥ with two live cards against Z0neX's K♥8♥. The call was a right one as a seven sat in the door 7♦ 2♠ A♣ 9♦ 3♦ ending the need for two tables thus starting up the final table below:

Seat 1: deporter94 (117049693 in chips)
Seat 2: kshumuv (24552869 in chips)
Seat 3: MrP0P (17215676 in chips)
Seat 4: Dr.AzaZello (26082800 in chips)
Seat 5: GrafGogi (51667932 in chips)
Seat 6: nevjerovatno (43303138 in chips)
Seat 7: TP2008 (30009140 in chips)
Seat 8: maxVVell1 (131748160 in chips)
Seat 9: IBslowrollin (39552592 in chips)

Kicked out

Seven into the final table the blinds would move up to 1.6MM/3.2MM ante 320K IBslowrollin would min-raise from middle position as kshumuv sittin on just 18.6 million three-bet shoved. Folded back around to IBslowrollin holding a couple of broadway cards J♥K♠ and making the call. kshumuv's pocket queens Q♣Q♦ were well ahead and stayed there after flopping a set 2♥ 7♦ Q♥ A♥ K♣. On the next hand maXVVell1 would try a min-raise from UTG as TP2008 called from the big blind to see a flop of Q♣6♣Q♥. Having caught top pair K♠Q♠ TP2008 would check-raise all-in for 18.7 million as maxVVell1 held one pip better Q♥A♥ and made the call. The turned A♦ would close things out as TP2008 earned $1,081.91 in ninth place.

P0P goes title number two

Before the blinds moved up again, MrP0P's chances for a second MicroMillions 7 title were slipping away as the shortstack open shoved from the button for 10.1 million. GrafGogi holding 43 million chips and T♣J♦ in the big blind made the call. MrP0P's K♠Q♥ was in the lead until an unlucky jack hit the turn 6♠ 5♣ 8♥ J♠ 7♠ ending MrP0P's shot at two titles in eighth place ($1,622.87).

Sent off the island

As the blinds moved up to 2MM/4MM ante 400K IBslowrollin calmly laid out the rest of a small stack (13.7 million) in the small blind holding pocket tens T♥T♦. deporter94 now the chip leader with 148.6 million chips was more than able to make the call with a small ace 4♠A♣. That little ace became a winning hand by the turn after finding a pair 2♠ 8♦ 4♥ A♠ 8♣ to knock IBslowrollin out of the ring in seventh place.

kshumuv comes alive

Still in the 2MM/4MM ante 400K blind level the former shortstacked kshumuv would be making a run at the title holding 94.2 million. nevjerovatno however was going the opposite way with just 1.54 million left. kshumuv would put in a min-raise from the cutoff as GrafGogi call in the small blind and nevjerovatno called off all-in in the big blind. Watch below as the live player check it down and sixth place is named:

Both kshumuv and GrafGofi would pair up on the 4♣ J♣ T♥ 7♥ 3♦ board but kshumuv's T♠A♣ would take it down as nevjerovatno mucked while claiming sixth place ($4,868.62).

Deporting another traveler

Six hands later still in the 2MM/4MM ante 400K blind level play would fold around to GrafGogi on the button. With 48.6 million chips GrafGogi made a play for the blinds by shoving. deporter94 trying to take out the rest of the table after refusing to deal made the call with another small ace A♥5♣. GrafGogi's Q♣K♥ was live but it wasn't the ace that did the damage, instead the five kicker would hit the flop and river T♠ 5♦ 6♠ 7♠ 5♠ shipping 101.3 million chips to deporter94 as GrafGogi collected $6,671.81 in fifth place.

The doctor is out

With the blinds moving up to 2.5MM/5MM ante 500K kshumuv continued to climb holding 125.9 million chips and using them all to open shove from the small blind. Dr.AzaZello was tired of running from the big stacks and made a stand from the big blind by calling all-in with 6♣Q♣. kshumuv looked towards pocket fives 5♠5♣ to add yet another big pot to the rising stack. The only club was on the door K♣ 3♦ 9♦ K♥ T♠ as the five survived and Dr.AzaZello had an appointment with another tournament in fourth place ($8,475.00).

maxVell Ends well

Near the end of the 2.5MM/5MM ante 500K blind level kshumuv would min-raise from the button as maxVVell1 found an ace 4♦A♥ in the small blind and decided to make a play by shoving for 51.8 million. kshumuv still rolling through the final table despite looking up at deporter94's 292.6 million chip stack, made the call with a better kicker A♦9♠. Neither player found much to connect with on the 3♣ 6♣ J♣ 7♠ 6♥ board as maxVVell1 earned a whopping $12,081.39 in third place.

Deports them all

kshumuv pleaded with the runaway chip leader deporter94 for a deal. Over $38K still to play for despite the ridiculously low $2.22 buy-in and rapidly rising blinds made sense to lock in the profit. However deporter94 held fast to not wanting a deal. After just four minutes of heads-up play still holding a sizable chip lead (351.2 million to 129.9 million) the decision not to deal turned out for deporter94. Watch below as the big stack gets a nice turn card and a title to go with it:

With all the chips in the middle for a 259.8 million pot preflop, deporter94 turned up 4♠K♣ facing kshumuv's A♦J♦. The flop was not an issue for kshumuv but the turn was 5♦ Q♠ 3♣ K♠ 7♣ as the pair of kings locked down the Event #85 MicroMillions Saturday Splash Special Edition title for deporter94 earning $22,549.53!
