MicroMillions 7: ukrainanfish swims through massive field for victory in Event #86 ($1 NLHE)
31,525 players stuffed into tonight's MicroMillions 7 Event #86 and stretched the dollar buy-in across ten hours of play. That's value. Also, holding value is the seventh running of the MicroMillions giving huge ROIs for little monetary risk as the $15,000 guarantee was nearly doubled. None benefits from this more than ukrainanfish who shut down the final table and walked away the win and $2,611.12 for the cost of one dollar invested.
The overall Player of the Series leader Bobrovaflya of Russia earn yet another cash during this two week long contest. It wasn't much but the 1,661st place finish was within the 4,275 paying spots thus added more points towards Bobrovaflya's lead over hel10s and Deeagie going into the final day tomorrow. The winner will a half year's worth of Sunday Million buy-ins (26 X $215.00) .
After nine hours and 15 minutes LMAO_ATU222 was probably not laughing out loud after joining the new table of nine as one of the final 18 players in this tournament. With the blinds up to 200K/400K ante 50K the hand would fold around to LMAO_ATU222 in the small blind who completed as leoguaru10 checked in the big blind. J♣5♣5♥ on the flop had LMAO_ATU222 betting 800,000, but leoguaru10 bumped it up to two million. Slowplaying pocket aces A♦A♥ LMAO_ATU222 shoved for 5.7 million as leoguaru10 made the call with a flush draw 8♣T♣. The aces would crumble quickly on the turned 4♣ and cracked by the K♥ as LMAO_ATU222 earned $55.92 in 18th place.
15 minutes later 16 players would take a five minute break as leoguaru10's ace cracking shot the Brazilian up to the chip lead with 15.3 million as the blinds would start out at 250K/500K ante 62.5K. 74makcim (Russia) would take a quick leave in 16th place ($55.92) then PacReg re-gained the chip lead after finding pocket aces A♠A♣ and an eager JohnWADA who pushed 6.7 million into them with Q♠A♦. After the 4♥ 2♠ J♣ K♠ Q♦ board was cleared PacReg collected the 14.5 million chip pot and JohnWADA held $78.57 in 15th place.
Another 15 minutes later, after 31,505 eliminations, hand-for-hand play started and the difference between playing for $2,611.12 and receiving $10 1.80 rested on the final 10 player's minds. Someone who will be looking back and wondering what just happened is leoguaru10. Armed with the chip lead just 30 minutes ago, with the blinds at 400K/800K ante 100K leoguaru10 would be all-in from the button for 1.86 million as PacReg still firmly in the chip lead making the call with pocket threes 3♦3♠. A♣2♣ would catch a pair on the flop but PacReg's treys found a set J♠ 2♥ 3♣ J♥ 6♦ ending leoguaru10's night in 10th place and starting up the final table below:
Seat 1: walkerwright (2130670 in chips)
Seat 2: XedoX77777 (26961654 in chips)
Seat 3: RiggeDNutS (12539522 in chips)
Seat 4: dereckvc (8982517 in chips)
Seat 5: SC-1980 (11524916 in chips)
Seat 6: Sdestruction (2171224 in chips)
Seat 7: PacReg (32671794 in chips)
Seat 8: ukrainanfish (19081428 in chips)
Seat 9: paixtis5 (9996275 in chips)
Just happy to make it here
On the first hand of the final table they would receive a blind bump to 500K/1MM ante 125K as RiggeDNutS min-raised from UTG+1 and it folded around to a shortstacked walkerwright in the big blind who made the call leaving just 5,670 chips behind. All-in of course after the 3♦3♥K♠ flop walkerwright showed Q♥8♦ as RiggeDNutS flipped up big slick A♣K♥. Running eights or queens were needed and walkerwright only got one on the turn 8♣ as the 4♦ river sent walkerwright home in ninth place ($135.93).
Symphony of destruction
Just two hands later the extreme shortstack, Sdestruction would attempt a huge comeback after calling all-in on PacReg's min-raise with K♣J♥. At least Sdestruction would get a flip against PacReg's pocket tens T♥T♣. The race was a quick one as PacReg flopped a set T♦ 2♥ 6♥ 7♦ 7♥ ending Sdestruction's night in eighth place ($231.14).
Back-to-back to five
The table to calm down a bit after the two opening eliminations then with the blinds up to 600K/1.2MM ante 150K the tournament population would be sliced down to five in back-to-back hands. First, ukrainanfish would min-raise from the button as XedoX77777 called in the big blind. Check-bet 1.99 million from ukrainanfish on the 9♦2♣8♠ flop another check on the T♣ turn. ukrainanfish would push out 4.8 million as XedoX77777 woke up and raised to 12 million. Holding a set of twos 2♥2♦ ukrainanfish shoved for 23.3 million total as XedoX77777 called all-in for less with Q♠T♦. No jack on the K♥ river as XedoX77777 took away $339.55 in seventh place.
On the next hand paixtis5 would open shove 7.31 million from the button as dereckvc made the call from the big blind holding A♣Q♣. Bad luck for paixtis5 while flipping up the lower kicker A♠3♦. A queen on the flop and missed wheel river draw 9♥ 4♣ Q♥ 2♦ 7♣ equaled sixth place and $489.25 for paixtis5.
Winning on the reg
The final five played through two levels before a big hand between PacReg and SC-1980 broke out. 26.5 million chips all-in preflop with $733.59 going to the loser and a possible chip lead for the winner. Check out the results below:
PacReg would claim the chip lead after big slick A♠K♠ avoided the gutshot draw of SC-1980's K♦J♦ on the A♦ 4♠ T♥ 9♠ A♥ board to earn $733.59 in fifth place.
A unnecessary boat sinks RiggeDNutS
With the blinds up to 1MM/2MM ante 250K RiggeDNutS would shove 15.6 million from the small blind over a raise by PacReg and three-bet by ukrainanfish. PacReg took a seat but ukrainanfish made the call with pocket sevens 7♠7♣. RiggeDNutS would show big slick K♦A♣ but the big hand never caught on to the J♦ 8♥ Q♦ Q♣ 7♦ as RiggeDNutS took down fourth place ($977.94).
That's no fish
ukrainanfish is disproving that moniker tonight while making it to heads-up play for the Event #86 title. As the blinds moved up to 125K/250K ante 312.5K ukrainanfish would min-raise from the button as dereckvc shoved for 23.2 million from the small blind. PacReg would fold as ukrainanfish called with Q♦K♥ squaring off against dereckvc's A♦3♦. This hand would be part of an eight hand winning streak for ukrainanfish as a king on the flop 4♦ T♣ K♣ 8♠ 3♥ would ship $1,222.85 to dereckvc in third place.
Swimming upstream to the winner's circle
As mentioned in the last hand, ukrainanfish went on a tear building up a 90.7 million to 35.3 million chip lead with the blinds still at 1.25MM/2.5MM ante 312.5K. Five minutes later with the chips still favoring ukrainanfish they would get it all-in preflop for a 73.1 million chip pot. Check out the final hand of this exactly ten hour adventure below:
PacReg would suffer from kicker problems after shoving 36.2 million chips with Q♥J♠ as ukrainanfish made the call holding Q♣A♣. Nothing over a nine appeared on the 5♣ 7♠ 9♦ 5♦ 6♠ board as ukrainanfish capped the MicroMillions 7 Event #86 victory earning $2,611.12!
