SCOOP 2014: SenoiPomidor the Razz Master with victory in Event #31-H [$2,100 Razz]
Another sensationally stacked final table. Event #31-H Razz featured a final table appearance by Triple COOP champion Andy McLEOD, in addition to a pair of smoking-hot players -- SirWatts and cal42688. SirWatts made his fourth final table at this year's SCOOP and cal42688 embarked on another deep run amidst a search for SCOOP win #5. Alas, cal42688 was the first player to bust at the final table. Meanwhile SirWatts hit the road in fourth, and Andy McLEOD eventually busted in third place. That left SenoiPomidor in a heads-up battle versus Adamyid for Razz supremacy. When the dust settled, SenoiPomidor stepped into the spotlight as the newest SCOOP champion.
SCOOP Event #31-H $2,100 Razz attracted 88 runners. They created a prize pool worth $176,000.00. Only the top 12 places paid out, with $47,960.00 set aside to the eventual champion.
Team Poker Stars Pros trying to grind out a SCOOP title in Event #31-H included Alex Kravchenko, George Danzer, ElkY, Jason Mercier, and Eugene Katchalov. Meanwhile, nkeyno was the lone member of PokerStars Team Online taking a shot in this event.
Kravchenko went deep. He was front running for most of the tournament hanging out in the Top 10 in chips. With 22 to go, he surged to third overall, however, that's as high as he'd get. With 13 to go and action hand-for-hand on the money bubble, Kravchenko found himself as the short stack. The Russian hung on for dear life and switched gears into full-blown, short-stack-assassin mode to chip up a couple spots.
Kravchenko survived the money bubble and secured a min-cash when he knocked out the other shorty Scott "gunning4you" Seiver. By fifth street, Kravchenko held 9-7-6-5-3, which would be good enough to beat gunning4you's Q-8-4-3-A low.
Kravchenko advanced to the money, but he was still a shorty. He made a final stand with 4♦5♥A♣Q♠J♥A♠4♥ and a Q-J-5-4-A low, but he lost to SenoiPomidor's 9-8-5-4-2 low. Kravchenko busted in 12th place, which paid out a min-cash of $4,840.00).

SirWatts made another final table, this was his fourth overall in this year's SCOOP. He began the day as ninth overall on the leader board for SCOOP High and was looking to move up that ladder. Calvin "cal42688" Anderson was seeking his fifth SCOOP crown. He came close a couple of times already this SCOOP, but he was going to need help if he wanted to win this one. Also at the final table was James "Andy McLEOD" Obst, who is a rare Triple COOP winner. He was seeking his second SCOOP title.
cal42688 eliminated in 8th place
Seven hands. That's how long it took before short-stacked cal42688 became the first player to exit the final table. cal42688 moved all-in on third street with 6♠ showing. WushuTM called with 5♦ showing. Their boards finished up...
WushuTM won the pot with a 9-5-4-3-A low. cal42688's J-8-7-6-3 low was not good enough to stave off elimination. cal42688 went busto in eighth place, which paid out $5,720.00. cal42688 has to wait another day for SCOOP title #5. Shaun Deeb's record is safe... for now.
kamyl87 eliminated in 7th place
Another short-stack bit the dust. On sixth street, kamyl87 was all-in with (X-X)/A♣A♦8♣6♣ in a multi-way pot against Adamyid and SenoiPomidor. Adamyid was in better shape with (X-X)/5♠4♥5♥6♥ vs. SenoiPomidor's (X-X)/2♦6♠7♣7♠. At showdown, both Adamyid and kamy187 mucked their hands. SenoiPomidor tabled A♥5♣2♦6♠7♣7♠8♠ and won the side pot and the main pot with a 7-6-5-2-A low. Poland's kamyl87 hit the road in seventh place, which paid out $7,480.00.
With six to go, SenoiPomidor was closing in on 160K, and BigPig400 held 106K and was the only other player with over 100K. Although Andy McLEOD and Adamyid were both short-stacked with 29K, but Adamyid quickly climbed out of the basement.
WushuTM eliminated in 6th place
Three-way. WushuTM was all-in on third street with 9♥. SenoiPomidor and Adamyid both went all the way to the river, mostly min-betting on every street, yet both checking on the river. At showdown, WushuTM mucked his hand (his up cards were 9♥6♠6♥K♣). The other two tabled their hands:
SenoiPomidor lost with a J-9-8-7-2 low vs. Adamyid's 7-6-4-3-A low. Adamyid won the side pot and the main pot, and WushuTM went busto in sixth place, which paid out $9,240.00.
SirWatts eliminated in 5th place
Five-handed lasted for a couple of levels and the lead changed hands a few times. SirWatts found himself as the short stack when he got involved in a hand with BigPig400. On fifth street, SirWatts was all-in with (X-X)/4♥6♦A♣ versus BigPig400's (X-X)/T♣5♦2♦. The boards finished up:
SirWatts had a decent low with 8-7-6-4-A but he ran into BigPig400's formidable 7-5-3-2-A. Alas, SirWatts was unable to double up and he went busto in fifth place, which paid out $12,320.00.
With four to go, SenoiPomidor was way out in front with approximately 220K, BigPig400 second with 143K, Andy McLEOD third with 60K, and Adamyid bringing up the rear with 16.6K. But Adamyid wouldn't stay in the dog house for much longer.
BigPig400 eliminated in 4th place
On fifth street, BigPig400 three-bet shoved with (X-X)/4♦T♠8♥ and Adamyid called with (X-X)/6♠J♥5♠. Their boards finished up...
BigPig400's 10-8-5-4-2 low lost to Adamyid's 8-7-6-5-4 low. BigPig400 was knocked out in fourth place, which paid out $16,720.00.
With three remaining, Adamyid seized the lead with 269K, SenoiPomidor sat in second with 160K, and Andy McLEOD brought up the rear with 10K.
Andy McLEOD eliminated in 3rd place
Short-stacked Andy McLEOD managed to stay alive with paltry holdings, but his luck ran out and he was unable to mount a comeback. On third street holding 2♥, he got it all-in preflop for his last 12,872 against SenoiPomidor. Their boards ran out...
Andy McLEOD: A♦A♥2♥8♠T♥3♦5♣
Andy McLEOD made a final stand with 8-5-3-2-A, but he lost to SenoiPomidor's 7-6-4-3-2. Triple COOP champ James "Andy McLEOD" Obst took home $24,640.00 for third place.

SenoiPomidor pulled away with the lead. It was only a matter of time before SenoiPomidor delivered a knock-out blow. On the final hand... short-stacked Adamyid had gotten it all-in on fifth street with (X-X)/3♣7♣J♠ against SenoiPomidor's (X-X)/9♠6♦4♥. The boards ran out...
