SCOOP 2015: LeslieGroves soars to bombastic 4-Max victory in Event #20-L ($27 NL)

You can run, but you can't hide. That's the beauty and simplicity of 4-max tournaments. You can't sit back and cruise to the final table while everyone else cannibalizes themselves. In a 4-max setting, you're constantly in the thick of the action. Early on Day 2 in Event #20-L, Hungary's feketelyuk73 seized the lead and looked like an unstoppable runaway freight train as feketelyuk73 steamrolled everyone in sight. By the time the final table began, LeslieGroves's stack mushroomed into a formidable weapon of mass destruction. LeslieGroves was second in chips and on an inevitable collision course with feketelyuk73. With four to go, LeslieGroves seized the lead and never looked back. With two to go, LeslieGroves wiped out feketelyuk73 in only 26 hands en route to a triumphant victory Event #20-L.

2015 SCOOP Event #20-L $27 NL (4-Max) attracted 7,568 runners for this two-day affair. They created a prize pool worth $185,794.40. Only the top 1,000 places paid out with $19,662.82 set aside for the eventual champ.

With six to go, LeslieGroves raced DonDiemon with 6♣6♦ versus A♥T♣. The board finished up 3♥3♣2♦K♦3♦. LeslieGroves's pocket sixes held up. DonDiemon never improved and bubbled off the final table in sixth place.
