SCOOP 2015: Norway's erikhangaard ends the winter of discontent with win in Event #31-L ($27 FL Hold'em 6-Max)

Going into the 6-Max limit hold'em final table, Norway's erikhangaard seemed destined to win SCOOP Event #31-L. Big-stacked erikhangaard held a commanding lead with six to go. Once it got heads-up, Rickiyo trimmed the margin. The two swapped the lead too many times to count during a whirlwind, frenetic heads-up battle. Whenever one player attempted to pull away, the other launched a successful blitzkrieg attack to even the count. A persistent and relentless erikhangaard never backed down. When he finally got Rickiyo on the ropes, erikhangaard did not waste the precious opportunity and delivered a crushing blow. Rickiyo bowed out in second place and erikhangaard emerged as the victor.
