SCOOP 2016: bustoville busts'em all to win Event #19-H ($1,050+R NLH Big Antes)
Another round of Friday SCOOP tournaments brought out players from all bankroll levels. The high buy-in version of Event #19 had players hitting rebuy and spending $1,050 a pop. The No Limit Hold'em Rebuy tournament drew a strong crowd of pros but it was bustoville standing alone at the end of the tournament.
Event #19-H drew 302 players and they put in 155 rebuys along the way with 268 adding on more chips at the close of registration. It all added up to a $725,000 prize pool with players at the last four tables grabbing some of it. They played 18 levels of poker before play was paused for the evening. They returned for Day 2 ready to find the next SCOOP champion.
They reached the final table nine when former WCOOP winner (and double Super Tuesday champ) ekziter put in his short stack with A♣8♣ and was outflopped by Tommy "tcblade" Chen's A♦4♦ to send him out in 10th place.
The final table included players with four Super Tuesday wins and ten COOP titles including Chen and Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas who each conquered SCOOP events this series. It was a very talented group of pros taking their seat to play down to a champion.

Rough river for Bluf_To_Much, eliminated in 9th
Saying this final table was deep stacked seems to be a bit of an understatement. The blinds had little impact on pushing the action so it took a couple players catching big hands to get some early movement.
Bluf_To_Much was the "short stack" but his 24 big blinds weren't in much danger until he three-bet shoved against Rampone with a dominant Q♠Q♣ versus 9♦9♣. His double up was looking good all the way down to the turn with the board showing A♦8♣4♥T♥ but then the two-out 9♥ showed up on the river to send the 2015 WCOOP champ out in 9th.
Chidwick goes down to Broadway, eliminated in 8th
He was the new short stack at the table after more than an hour of eight-handed play and put most of his stack in the middle with an early position raise. Nick "PureCash25" Rampone raised enough on the button to put Chidwick all-in and cards were flipped up.
Chidwick was dominated with Q♠J♣ against A♣J♥ but picked up an open-ended straight draw on the K♥T♣2♥ flop. No love on the 7♥ turn and Rampone ended up with a straight of his own after the Q♣ river. He picked up the pot and sent Chidwick out in 8th place.
Chen can't catch the river, eliminated in 7th
Tommy "tcblade" Chen added his second SCOOP title a few days ago, also in a SCOOP rebuy tournament, but will have to wait for his third.
He was battling with fellow 2016 SCOOP champion Bujtas and they were heads-up to the A♣3♥2♦ flop. Both checked before things went sideways after the T♦ turn. Chen check/raised all-in with the flush draw/gutshot draw 8♦4♦ and Bujtas called with top pair A♥7♥.
Chen had 12 outs to stay alive but the Q♥ river was not one of them to send the double SCOOP winner out in 7th place.
Rampone shoves short, eliminated in 6th
Nick "PureCash25" Rampone dropped under 10 big blinds midway through final table action and put those to work after a raise from eijseijs.
The shove was called and Rampone needed to win a race with A♦9♦ against 3♦3♥. But never got close as the board ran J♠T♥4♥5♣K♥ to send him out in 6th place for $32,625. The Canadian-transplanted pro has yet to raise the COOP virtual trophy but he has two Super Tuesday victories to keep him company for now.
Bujtas can't add another SCOOP, eliminated in 5th
Bujtas joined Chen as recent SCOOP winners, Bujtas' coming a few days ago during the $2,100 No Limit Draw event, but he joined Chen on the rail two hands after Rampone was sent out.
He was getting short and moved all-in from the button with Q♥J♣ and bustoville looked him up with A♠2♦ from the small blind. Bujtas had two live cards but neither connected on the all-low 7♣7♠4♥8♣6♦ board to send him out on the heels of Rampone.
Ship It 2010 shipped out, eliminated in 4th
Jamie "Ship It 2010" O'Connor was down to only ten big blinds with four players remaining when a suited ace under the gun looks pretty good. He moved all-in with A♥3♥ and bustoville came along with two face cards in K♣Q♦.
Those two live cards trumped the overcard when the flop came Q♠9♣6♣. O'Connor needed to catch his ace but found nothing on the 4♦ turn or 6♥ to exit in 4th place. The $61,000 he earned for this finish will go along nicely with the $64,000 he took home for his Sunday Million 4th place finish a few months ago.
eijseijs follows right behind Shit It 2010, eliminated in 3rd
eijseijs was the shortest of the three and didn't wait to get blinded out before trying to make his chips double in size. He moved all-in for less than 500,000 from the small blind after bustoville opened from the button.
He got a quick call from the leader with A♦Q♦ and eijseijs' suited connectors needed to connect. The T♥7♦4♠ flop was no help but eijseijs added a gutshot courtesy of the 5♥ turn. The river paired with 5♣ to end the tournament for the Swede and set up the heads-up match for the title.
Seat 3: NikolasDLP (926,130 in chips)
Seat 7: bustoville (3,368,870 in chips)
Blinds: 10K/20K with 4K Ante
bustoville busts NikolasDLP to earn SCOOP honors in #19-H
The heads-up match lasted only 14 hands with two-time WCOOP winner Nikolay 'NikolasDLP' Prokhorskiy unable to make a dent in bustoville's big lead. The Russian won some smaller pots from bustoville but the tournament was done less than ten minutes after the two began their battle.
The final hand actually saw all the chips get in after the board was complete. Prokhorskiy called a pre-flop open from bustoville to the K♥Q♥2♥ flop and check/called another 44,968 bet. He check/called another 135,342 after the 3♠ turn and checked for a third time following the 6♣ river.
This check turned into a check/raise for his entire stack and the leader quickly called with a flopped set of queens holding Q♠Q♣. Prokhorskiy was never able to hit his flopped flush draw with A♥6♦ and the rivered pair was not enough to keep him in the game.
Prokhorskiy will have to wait to add a SCOOP to his WCOOP while bustoville earned his biggest online tournament score, earning $148,262 along with his SCOOP title.
