There is the race for SCOOP supremacy between Shaun Deeb (five) and Calvin "cal42688" Anderson (six) currently the number one and two title holders for not only SCOOP but overall -COOPs with eight a piece.

Matt 'plattsburgh' Vengrin is looking for his second SCOOP title in this series after winning Event #28-M to go along with his two World Championship on Online Poker titles.

Stephen "stevie444" Chidwick comes in with three -COOP titles as well. Much like Vengrin, he already has a title in this series after taking down Event #20-M.

Mike "goleafsgoeh" Leah does not own a SCOOP title (yet), but like Vengrin and Chidwick does own two WCOOP titles including last year's Event #27 and a $5K turbo at the 2014 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.

__akun333___ took away a WCOOP bracelet in 2014's Event #50 in a Stud-game (Razz).

Nairam "marjanko89" Kim made a Sunday Million final table this year taking fifth place for $50K.

With only one elimination before the final table of eight, hand-for-hand play started up on the first hand of Day Two. All nine almost made through the hour but with 15 minutes to go with the bets at 40K/80K ante 8K Freddy[DM[3] would be all-in after the door cards were dealt. Anderson tried to bet on fifth but Chidwick stayed in. Chidwick would take over the aggression betting on sixth and seventh as Anderson called and mucked after seeing Chidwick's two pair K♥ K♦ / 3♠ 8♠ A♥ 3♦ / 6♠. Freddy[DM[3] was unable to continue mucking as well to start up the final table below:

Seat 1: __akun333___ (495356 in chips)
Seat 2: Calvin "cal42688" Anderson (991237 in chips)
Seat 3: gangstachel9 (675763 in chips)
Seat 4: Matt "Plattsburgh" Vengrin (334082 in chips)
Seat 5: Shaun "shaundeeb" Deeb (464130 in chips)
Seat 6: Stephen "stevie444" Chidwick (938522 in chips)
Seat 7: Mike "goleafsgoeh" Leah (829234 in chips)
Seat 8: Nairam "marjanko89" Kim (111676 in chips)

Nearly ten minutes into the final table with the bets holding, Deeb would raise as Leah, __akun333___, and Vengrin all tagged along. Everyone called Shaun's bet on fourth street, but on fifth Vengrin led out as Deeb raised, knocking out Leah, but __akun333___ stayed in. Vengrin three-bet all-in for 14K more as both players called. By the river Deeb would be all-in for 26K showing aces and fours 4♠ A♥ / A♦ 7♥ Q♠ 4♦ / K♠. __akun333___ showed the second-nut low A♣ 3♦ / 2♠ 6♦ 2♥ K♣ / 4♣ as Vengrin could only produce a pair of eights with an eight-seven low 6♠ 3♠ / 8♠ A♠ 8♦ 7♦ / Q♥ claiming eighth place ($1,936.00).

Four minutes after the first hourly break with the bets remaining level, it would be a battle between the two -COOP all-time title holders. The winner could walk away with title number nine while the loser would be forced to watch in seventh place. Anderson would bring-in for 12K as only Deeb called. Anderson bet on fourth and Deeb called. On fifth Anderson led out again but this time Deeb would check-raise all-in for 119K total. Anderson made the call ending up with jack and a six-five low J♠ J♦ / 2♠ 5♠ 3♦ A♥ / 6♣ as Deeb could not improve on his pair of sevens 7♦ 8♠ / 6♦ T♥ 7♠ 3♣ / K♠ earning $2,420.00 in seventh place.

11 hands later as the bets moved to 50K/100K ante 10K gangstachel9 would raise to 50K as Kim and __akun333___ came along. Gangstachel9 would keep up the aggression on streets to the river. On the river gangstachel9 put in the remaining 763 chips which both other players found a way to make the call. Gangstachel9's great start bricked out 4♠ 3♦ / A♠ 3♠ Q♠ 2♦ / T♣ as Kim's eights 8♣ A♦ / 8♥ 2♣ 9♣ 7♦ / J♠ were good enough to take the 962K pot ending gangstachel9's tournament in sixth place.

The five players remaining would chill after the fast start as the next elimination would come after another level raise to 60K/120K ante 12K. 25 minutes after gangstachel9's departure, Leah would bring-in as Kim raised and Chidwick three-bet. Only Kim called to see fourth street. Chidwick would bet as Kim check-called, but on fifth Kim led out as Chidwick raised, Kim three-bet putting Chidwich all-in for his last 72K. Chidwick's wired queens found a third Q♦ Q♣ / A♣ 6♣ Q♠ J♣ / 4♦ but Kim's tens found three sevens T♥ T♠ / 7♦ 7♣ 9♥ 7♥ / 5♣ to knockout Chidwick in fifth place ($4,840.00)

With Deeb gone Calvin Anderson had the chance to take over the overall -COOP title record. But, he was pinned down with a little more than three BBs and three minutes to go in the second hour. After __akun333___ raised, Anderson three-bet while Kim conceded the bring-in. __akun333___ called as Anderson was all-in after fourth street. Calvin's excellent start bricked out 2♥ 6♦ / A♠ 3♠ 9♣ J♣ / 3♣ as Kim's split fours 4♣ 3♦ / 4♦ 5♦ Q♦ T♥ / K♠ were good enough to knock Anderson off a possible ninth -COOP title in fourth place ($7,260.00).

15 minutes into the third hour of play with the bets up to 80K/160K ante 16K Leah would raise as __akun333___ brought in and called. Leah would check-call on fourth but lead out on fifth. Kim stayed in as both players checked on sixth. Leah like his river card and led out as __akun333___ raised. Holding two pair and a missed flush draw 7♣ 2♣ / 9♣ 2♠ Q♣ J♦ / 7♠ Leah called all-in for 88K. Kim's rivered trips 3♣ 8♠ / 5♣ 3♠ T♣ 6♠ / 3♦ were enough to send Leah packing in third place ($9,931.68).

Immediately the final two hashed out a deal setting aside $500 for the champ:

__akun333___ (Poland) $15,979.94
marjanko89(Ukraine) $15,464.06

__akun333___ would start off with the advantage over Kim 2.74 million to 2.09 million and stretch that lead with a 2.1 million chip pot four hands later after notching a full house which Kim was not able to find a split.

15 minutes later with the bets up to 100K/200K ante 20K and __akun333___ increasing the lead to 3.8 million to 1.02 million over Kim. __akun333___ would raise as Kim brought-in and called. Kim would check-call on fourth but check-raised on fifth which __akun333___ called. After leading out on sixth, Kim would be forced to call all-in after __akun333___'s raise. Kim's bluff nor king-high 6♠ 7♣ / 3♣ K♥ 4♦ Q♦ / T♦ was enough to knock __akun333___ off a pair of queens Q♠ A♠ / Q♣ 3♦ J♠ 2♦ / 7♥. Already holding a WCOOP bracelet __akun333___ now has -COOP jewelry for both wrists after claiming the SCOOP 2016 Event #33-M title and $16,479.94!
