1. The headlines
There were only three SCOOP 2018 tournaments left to decide, the three tiers of Main Events.
The biggest of those was Tankanza in the High event.
On the long list of things that go without saying, the quality of opposition at the final table was one of them (something that applied to all three finals). Tankanza got past the likes of Lena900, Thomas "WushyTM" Mueloecker, and Chris "Big Huni" Hunichen before defeating countryman nailuj90 heads-up and deal free. First prize was $1,133,160.
Read the report of the Main Event High.
In the Medium event, it was Wildace_hun of Hungary taking top spot and a first prize of 783,165. VICTOR TXR1 came close for Brazil, finishing second in what was another deal free final table.

Then there was the Low, if you can call a first prize of $267,583 low.
That was won by Cashcid Linc of Germany ahead of a field of 4,211. The final table featured two former winners from SCOOP 2018. AcckiySotona of Russia finished in sixth place, while merla888 cashed out in ninth.

That wraps up all the winners from SCOOP 2018. For a full list, go to the SCOOP 2018 homepage.
There's still time for a last hat tip of our SCOOP double winners, ten in all.

2. Golden Scythe: The winner
Winning a Main Event is one thing. But what about that other title, that of the most lethal player in SCOOP 2018 - the winner of the Golden Scythe?
Well, the scores are in. The line has been set for future generations at 108 Knock Outs.
The winner: Calvin "cal42688" Anderson (108 KOs)
It's hard to argue with the quality of the winner. Anderson won two SCOOP events this year, and finished second on two leader boards (more on that below). He also eliminated 108 players, one more than PomGinJ with 107.
