A field of 432 players found $1,050 in their accounts to play in this week's edition of the Super Tuesday on Pokerstars, creating a prize pool of $432,000 as the final 54 players get back at least double what they paid to enter. The bubble was burst when herdgolf's86's pocket kings were no good THEDUTCH4141's pocket queens turned another queen to leave herdgolf86th the 55th place finisher, the last player to win up with $0. One member of Team PokerStars made the money, as Team Canada Pro Marcello Del Grosso finished in 34th for $2,592.00.

THEDUTCH4141 took part in another bubble in this tournament, although this time, they'd be the bubble boy for the final table. The blinds were at 1,800/3,600 with an ante of 450 as THEDUTCH4141 opened from the button with a raise to 7,200 as 8superpoker called from the big blind. On a flop of 9♥ 8♠ 5♦, 8superpoker check-called THEDUTCH4141's bet of 7,200. When the turn brought the 3♦, 8superpoker checked again, as THEDUTCH4141 bet 21,600. This time, 8superpoker moved all-in, having THEDUTCH4141 well covered. THEDUTCH4141 called for their remaining 40,137, holding 9♦6♦ for top pair, a flush draw and a gutshot straight draw. 8superpoker held the lead with T♣9♣ for top pair with a better kicker. The 4♥ on the river meant 8superpoker faded the 15-outer on the river, as THEDUTCH4141 earned $5,616.00 as the final table was now set with this lineup:

Seat 1: gp333 (78,982 in chips)
Seat 2: sil_eye_hand (34,581 in chips)
Seat 3: P4L_JS (315,388 in chips)
Seat 4: Eric" psuNYY51" Ladny (283,662 in chips)
Seat 5: Peetoon (475,577 in chips)
Seat 6: croll103 (224,601 in chips)
Seat 7: 8superpoker (258,658 in chips)
Seat 8: mestrefilipe (254,931 in chips)
Seat 9: Coilmaster85 (233,620 in chips)

The ninth place finisher was gp333, earning $7171.20 for a brief visit at the final table. Action had folded around to 8superpoker, making a raise to 10,200 with A♦J♠, then gp333 shoved from the small blind for 71,782 total with A♣7♦ as 8superpoker made the call. Five cards later, the results didn't change: T♣ 8♦ 8♣ 3♠ K♣ as 8superpoker knocked out their second straight player while gp333 bid adieu to the final table.

Eighth place money of $9,720.00 would be credited to croll103's account as the flop hit mestrefilipe very hard. Mestrefilipe opened from UTG to 8,300 with A♦T♦ as croll103 re-raised from the small blind with K♠K♥ to 21,400 as mestrefilipe made the call. The flop was 2♦ 6♦ 4♦, giving mestrefilipe the nut flush. Croll103 bet 28,000 as mestrefilipe chose to just call, setting the trap. The turn brought the T♠, as croll103 went all-in for 103,100 drawing dead to a server restart/power failure. Mestrefilipe made the double-fistpump snapcall with the nuts, as the Q♥ on the river concluded croll103's stay at the final table.

The next elimination would not happen until nearly an hour later, with the blinds now up to 2,800/5,600 with an ante of 700 as mestrefilipe dispatched P4L_JS in 7th place for $14,040.00.

The next elimination wouldn't take as long, as 8superpoker finished in sixth place, picking up $18,360.00 as Peetoon took their remaining chips. Coilmater85 had doubled through Peetoon to hold the chip lead for a brief time, before getting those chips back and more when Peetoon crippled 8superpoker a few hands earlier when making a flush. With the blinds now at 3,200/6,400 with an ante of 800, Peetoon shoved from the small blind with K♠K♣, 8superpoker called for their remaining 29,726 in chips from the big blind with J♣T♦. The board ran out A♥ 4♠ A♦ J♠ 6♦ as Peetoon moved into the chip lead once again.

Sil_eye_hand, who battled back from the short stack nine-handed to a respectable fifth place finish, good for $24,192.00. Another blind increase had taken place, now at 3,600/7,200 with an ante of 900 when sil_eye_hand raised from UTG+1 to 14,400 with A♦5♠ with Peetoon calling for 10,800 from the small blind with 6♦6♣. On a flop of 4♥ 5♥ 2♦, Peetoon checked, sil_eye_hand bet 14,400 as Peetoon raised all-in. Sil_eye_hand called for their remaining 81,448 in chips, needed an ace or five to double-up. The 4♦ on the turn changed nothing, while the 3♦ on the river gave both players a straight. Unfortunately for sil_eye_hand, their wheel was bested by Peetoon's six-high straight, moving to over 1 million in chips.

Unfortunately for Peetoon, who had finished second in a Super Tuesday back in July, the one-time chip leader would finish in fourth place. Mestrefilipe and Coilmaster85 took turns taking chunks of chips from Peetoon over the next series of hands. Peetoon had been able to double up a couple of times, but was third in chips when the fateful hand came about. The blinds were now at 4,500/9,000 with an ante of 1,125. Peetoon raised from the button to 19,000 with 4♠4♥, then mestrefilipe re-raised to 49,000 from the small blind with 8♦8♣. After Coilmaster85 folded from the big blind, Peetoon four-bet all-in for 330,571 as mestrefilipe made the call. The 8♥ A♦ J♥ gave mestrefilipe a set, leaving Peetoon drawing to runner-runner fours or runner-runner hearts. Peetoon was drawing dead after the 5♦ came on the turn and the record shows that the K♠ on the river completed the hand, as Peetoon will have $34,560.00 recorded for their fourth place finish.

Eric "psuNYY51" Ladny had stayed out of the way for most of the final table, accumulating his stack without many showdowns, but eventually he'd finish in third place, good for $45,360.00. The blinds were now at 5,000/10,000 with an ante of 1,250 when Coilmaster85 raised from the button to 22,599 with T♦T♠. Ladny re-raised to 54,000 with A♥J♣, and Coilmaster four-bet all-in. Ladny called for his remaining 417,955 and the race was on. This time, it was Coilmaster85 who'd receive the checkmark as the board ran clean: 3♠ 9♣ 5♣ 7♠ 6♦ as Coilmaster85 would hold a nearly 3-1 chip lead heads-up.

Just a dozen hands later, Coilmaster85 would have all of the chips. From the small blind, Coilmaster85 raised to 30,000 then mastrefilipe moved all-in for their remaining 453,479 as Coilmaster85 made the call. When the cards were revealed, mastrefelipe held the lead with A♦T♥, as Coilmaster85 held K♠Q♠. The flop moved Coilmaster85 into the lead: Q♣ 8♦ 7♦ as mastrefelipe needed an ace to retake the lead. Unfortunately, the turn and river were of no help, 4♣7♣ as Coilmaster85's two pair were the best, taking down the Super Tuesday title along with $82,900.80. mastrefelipe earned the consolation of winning $61,560.00 for second place.
