The 10th place finisher of the 10/10/10 Sunday Warm-Up would be short-stacked diemaus36o. With the blinds at 65,000/130,000 with an ante of 13,00, diemaus36o held less than two big blinds, open-shoving from the button. Diphazz re-raised to 390,000 from the small blind in an attempt to isolate, but hetzandrea called from the big blind. The two players with chips checked it down on a board of 3♦ 3♠ 9♥ T♠ 9♦. Diphazz showed A♠7♥, while hetzandrea turned over 6♦6♠ for two pair. Diemaus36o mucked, earning $5,229.60 for the final table bubble finish, as the remaining players surrounded the final table:

Sunday Warmup 10102010.jpg

Seat 1: Robinson47 (1,056,558 in chips)
Seat 2: upay4mytreez (10,356,590 in chips)
Seat 3: Arkantos85 (1,995,321 in chips)
Seat 4: hetzandrea (4,168,081 in chips)
Seat 5: diphazz (3,831,571 in chips)
Seat 6: el_rage (6,325,243 in chips)
Seat 7: andersmeli (5,150,158 in chips)
Seat 8: TPROP (1,587,941 in chips)
Seat 9: Tulkaz (9,108,537 in chips)

The final table had played just four hands before the first player was sent to the rail. Action started with a min-raise by diphazz from UTG, with Arkantos85 calling from the small blind and hetzandrea from the big blind. After all three players checked on a flop of K♦ 5♥ 7♦, the turn brought the 5♦, diphazz bet out 400,000 with only Arkantos85 calling. The river brought the Q♦, leading Arkantos to move in for 1,153,321 with A♠J♦. However, diphazz held A♦T♣ and made the call with the nut flush, leaving Arkantos85 with no more chips, but collecting $6,972.80 for his efforts.

The blinds were at 80,000/160,000 with an ante of 16,000 when TPROP departed from the table in 8th place. Again, it was diphazz who opened the action with a raise to 390,000, action folded to TPROP who moved in for 1,314,941 from the small blind with K♥K♣. Diphazz snap-called with A♣A♥ and when the board ran out 6♠ 3♠ Q♦ 7♥ 2♦, TPROP was recorded with a cash for $10,895.00

The next elimination was in a blind v blind battle, with a short-stacked Robinson47 shoving from the small blind for 836,558 with 9♣8♦. Upay4mytreez called from the big blind with 6♣6♥ and it was off to the races. This time, it was Robinson47 who wound up last, with the board coming down A♣ 4♦ 4♥ Q♠ Q♦, picking up $19,611.00 for the seventh place finish.

Another race eliminated the next player, as andersmeli would find the addition of $28,327.00 in their cashier account. El_rage opened from UTG +1 to 326,000, with andersmeli re-raising to 725,500. Action folded around to el_rage, making a four-bet shove all-in to 6,130,123 holding A♣Q♣ as andersmeli made the call with J♠J♥ for their remaining 4,458,538 chips. The flop was beneficial to el_rage: Q♥ 8♣ 4♥, leaving andersmeli drawing to a backdoor flush or the remaining two jacks. The turn brought the K♠, while the 5♥ on the river saw andersmeli bereft of chips while el_rage moved into the chip lead.

The river would be kind yet again to diphazz, eliminating hetzandrea in 5th place. The blinds were now at 100,000/200,000 with an ante of 20,000 when Tulkaz raised from UTG to 418,880, followed by hetzandrea shoving from the button for their last 1,919,081 with A♣K♣. Diphazz made the call from the small blind with A♥Q♦ while Tulkaz decided to go no further. The flop was 5♣ 6♦ 9♠ kept hetzandrea in the lead, with things unchanged as the 6♠ arrived on the turn. But the Q♣ on the river gave diphazz the checkmark, while hetzandrea's presence was gone from the table, replaced by the knowledge that $37,043.00 was their reward for their deep run.

With the play now four-handed, the deal-making process got underway with Team PokerStars Online player Anders Hoyer "Donald" Berg handling the deal-making. The chips among the four players and the first proposed deal were the following (with $10,000 set aside for the winner):

el_rage (14,523,041) $100,049.54
diphazz (11,206,674) $88,448.32
upay4mytreez (10,347,270) $85,441.97
Tulkaz (7,503,015) $75,492.27

Tulkaz was hoping for at least $85,000, but that idea was quickly scrapped and play continued. When someone nixes a deal, they're usually the next player to get knocked out. It would happen yet again at this final table, with Tulkaz being involved in a cooler hand. The blinds were up to 125,000/250,000 with a 25,000 ante when diphazz opened the action with a raise to 550,000. El_rage then smooth-called from the small blind, leading Tulkaz to move all-in from the big blind with their last 3,515,188 with Q♦Q♣. El_rage then moved in with A♣A♠, while diphazz wisely got out of the way. The flop left Tulkaz drawing to runner-runner: A♥ 3♦ 6♦, as the 3♠ had Tulkaz drawing dead with the record noting the 5♠ river while Tulkaz may have pondered taking that deal, earning $49,245.40

A second attempt at a deal was made, with these numbers:

el_rage (25,511,297) $121,691.56
upay4mytreez (11,455,844) $94,061.98
diphazz (6,612,859) $84,433.16

This time, it was diphazz who was looking for more money, $95,000 to be exact. Those pleas were denied as well. However, diphazz was able to move into contention after doubling through el_rage with a set of aces and a third attempt at a deal was made. Third time was the charm in terms of a deal with the following figures after el_rage gave diphazz $4,000:

el_rage (21,843,438) $110,194.97
diphazz (10,925,718) $97,422.14
upay4mytreez (10,810,844) $92.569.59

After the deal was made, the action picked up although el_rage would maintain the chip lead. With the blinds now at 250,000/500,000 with an ante of 50,000, diphazz would finish in 3rd place, losing to el_rage in another coinflip situation:

The conclusion of the 10/10/10 Sunday Warm-up would come just a few hands later as el_rage held a nearly 4-1 chip lead against upay4mytreez. El_rage min-raised from the small blind to 1,000,000 as upay4mytreez moved in for 8,970,326 from the big blind and el_rage triple-fistpump-snapcalled with A♦A♥, while upay4mytreez held A♠J♠. Five cards later, the tournament was over: 4♥ 9♣ 9♠ 4♣ 8♠. Guaranteed over $110,000, an additional $10,000 would go to el_rage while upay4mytreez would have to settle for second place money.
