Bloggers of the world unite! WBCOOP starts this Friday

Do you want free tournament buy-ins? Yes!
Do you want to share in more than $55,000 of giveaways? Yes!
Do you want to bust some Team Pros for bounties? Yes!
Do you write a poker blog? Yes!

In that case you are in for a treat because the World Blogger Championship of Online Poker (WBCOOP) begins this Friday running 1-11 March. Submit a link to your blog by clicking on this link to make sure that you've got the full choice of which of the 31 tournaments you want to play. Each blogger receives 10 WBCOOP tickets with which to make their mark on the leader board. There are all kinds of poker varieties to choose from; HORSE, PLO, Stud, Draw, Hold''em... you name it, it's on the schedule. Check our intro to the event here.

Each tournament gives away around $1,500 in SCOOP tickets as well as vital points towards the WBCOOP tournament leader board (plus bragging rights, of course). Win the leader board and you'll be festooned with prizes; $5,000 in tournament tickets, entry into the SCOOP Main Event, a PokerStars chip set and a great, big, shiny WBCOOP trophy (Winner's photo shoot not included).

Last year's winner Paul 'royalraise85' Jones donated €1,500 of his winnings to a local charity. We're not saying that you have to but The Royal Raiser showed a real touch of class by passing on some of his success.

Team PokerStars Pro bounties
Red Spades will be parachuting into different WBCOOP events each holding a $22 SCOOP ticket. Knock them out and claim their ticket. Players confirmed so far include Chris Moneymaker, Liv Boeree, Andre Akkari and Lex Veldhuis. Show them no quarter.

Chris Moneymaker: What do you mean I'm a bounty?

Luckily for you the PokerStars Blog isn't allowed to take part (boo, hiss). You'd only get annoyed when we called it off bad and got there...

And if you're looking for some other freebies then check out our 50 ticket MicroMillions Main Event give away here.
